Well done Jelly 👏👏
Dad update.
Mum says he looks really well 😍 but they don't think he will be home till mid next week when they have worked out if he needs a help package for when he gets home.
He is being naughty though 🤣🤣 he pulled his catheter bag off 😱 so it went all over the floor. Mum said he spoke to the nurse terrible and she told him, i said like telling a child off.
He asked Mum what time she would be there for visiting and she said 3, but a neighbour came up to see how Dad was so they were late leaving, but as they left the hospital rang but Mum didn't get to the phone quick enough and they don't leave a message. When they had just pulled up at the hospital my sisters phone rang, it was the hospital as Dad was panicking they wasn't coming as it was 3.15!
He keeps saying i'll be better when i know what's going on and i am home, he don't know what's going on half the time anyway so don't know how being home will be any different 😂Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
I hope they take your mum's needs into consideration when thinking about the care package @bubbs.
I'm surprised they set up a hue and cry so soon when your mum and sister were only overrunning by 15 minutes! Your dad must have been creating a big fuss! 🤣
Our gammon was lush tonight (the £6 joint from Sainsburys). It was the first time I've roasted it with a glaze. I'll definitely do it again. I made my own mustard and mixed with honey so not too synful.0 -
If I roast a gammon joint I usually make the same glaze @maman, much nicer than just a plain joint.
Enjoyed our gammon tonight too but I just pressure cooked it along with the veg. Very tasty but have too say I really prefer it cold which is how we'll have it on Boxing Day, along with LO beef from tomorrow.
Think I prefer Boxing Day food to Christmas Day really!

I hope they do Maman, well Mum did say he was being naughty 🤣🤣
I have never glazed a gammon, do you put it on at the start?Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
I boiled mine for 1.5 hours and then, took the net and rind off and put it in the oven for the final half hour with the glaze. Recipes vary @bubbs , I only decided to try glazing when it was already boiling so found a suitable recipe online. I think you can roast from the start but I wanted stock for soup. 😋1

I do the same as @maman and boil and then roast and just put the glaze on for about half hour. Couldn't be bothered yesterday which is why we just had it boiled! All sliced now ready for LOs on Boxing Day.
Need to cook some sausage rolls and some cheese and onion rolls this morning so will cook the beef at the same time which will just leave the potatoes, veg and yorkies to do at lunchtime when DD gets here.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Morning all, hope you all had a really lovely Christmas Day. It was lovely to see DD1 yesterday, she bought us a lovely box of M&S foods - unfortunately it's nearly all stuff which isn't SW friendly! Spoke to DD2 on the phone in the evening but she won't be coming today as her partner is still not good as still coughing and spluttering!
So it's back completely on plan today as definitely went over on syns yesterday! Understatement of the year?
Sorry to hear you were still positive yesterday @bubbs. It certainly seems to be hanging around.
Today's plan:
B - fry up with sausages (we were going to have sausage sandwich in the evening but just didn't want anything so need using up!) - P; S; 2
L - Smoked salmon & cucumber sandwich - HEB; P; S; 0.5
D - LO gammon, fried up LO potatoes & veg, pickles - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; LTL mayo 0.5
Have decided to freeze the LO beef in gravy. Enough left for another 2 meals for both of us.
Have a good day everyone.

Hi folks, hope you all had a lovely day yesterday.We had a quiet and enjoyable time. Had my parents over for most of the day and much wine was consumed after I’d driven them home! Think I’ve had a couple of weeks syns in one day 😳 I’m out tonight for our usual Boxing Day curry with friends then I think it will be back on plan for me. I honestly can’t wait! It’s amazing how lazy, tired, bloated, just general yucky you feel when you’re not being healthy and eating well.
I’ve loads of leftovers too so lentil soup is on and DS had fried up pigs in blankets with stuffing and hot sauce on rolls for breakfast while I had my usual fruit and yoghurt. Tomorrow we’ll finish off the turkey and ham and fry up the veg.

We are having roast pork and veg today, nothing naughty yet, well not eaten anything yet as we are having dinner about 3.
Dad doing ok although hhe keeps taking his PJ's off 😂 Mum said why do you keep taking them off? he said because i don't want them on , good enough answer i suppose 🤣🤣 Mum said hope he is home before the weekend, i said i doubt it with the holidays and sorting care package out. She said they are really busy 1 nurse to 10 patients instead of 1 to 6Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0
