Great idea to make a pitta pizza rather than buy one in @bubbs. Glad you enjoyed it. 😋

I've worked out that my next WI is a week on Thursday so must have 12 good days until then. 🤞 nothing happens to throw me off course.
The reason we don't have it is the cooked cheese upsets dh's tummy 🙄
So, what does Mr Bubbs have when you're having pitta pizza? Or do you just sprinkle the cheese on after it's cooked? 🤔
He has everything we used to have but no pizza, i now i have the pizza and not the other 🤣

That's great that it's only two weeks until your son gets back. I bet you can't wait. 😁

Obviously, you will want to celebrate but I'm sure you can come up with some delicious meals that are SW friendly when eating at home. 🤔

    Morning all,

Food looks lovely as always @bubbs

I adapted a recipe from G00d Housekeeping mag last night. We had cubed roasted potatoes with baked haddock. I then stirfried some prawns and green beans in spray oil and lemon juice, and poured over the top. It was lush and very light. Original recipe used potted shrimps and samphire but couldn't get any samphire.

Got up super-early and went to a local boot fair. Took a small flask of coffee and a hi fi with me. Very busy c.200 sellers. Got a few bits including some vintage pyrex  <3

    Food today:
B - SW sausages, poached egg, WM toast x 1, hi fi bar - HEB
L - not sure - we are going to look at sofas so depends how long we take! If home, I'll have lo bolognaise.
D - roast gammon, SW roast potatoes, carrots, green beans - P, S
    HEA - milk
    HEA - babybel light
    Syns - None planned

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

That's my sort of meal @Coxy11, just the sort of thing I'd order in a restaurant😋. Unfortunately my DH doesn't eat prawns so I wouldn't do it at home.☹

That's great willpower to not eat the other things from picky tea while MrB is having them @bubbs. Respect!😇

I portioned up the Bolognese and soup for the freezer this morning and kept some out for lunch. I put just one potato in the soup this time but it's mainly lentils and Speed veg (carrots, leeks, onions) so very close to SP.

I'm thinking I might go to WI this week instead of putting it off to the last moment. If, in the unlikely event, I'm still in target range (I have just 0.5lbs to spare) then all well and good. If not, then perhaps it will spur me on to be extra good during grace week. I'm trying to think ahead as it's about 2 months before I go away and I need to make sure that the next WI gives me time to claw back holiday gains.

    Today's EE plan-

B- HEB toast, fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- lentil soup (P,S,F), mackerel in mustard sauce (P), salad (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), BNS, red cabbage, green cabbage, cauli, broccoli, swede & carrot mash (S)
    Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😊

Sofa shopping took longer than we thought so DH had a toastie and coffee in a coffee outlet and I got a pep$i max and a bag of sweet and salty popcorn - 6.5 syns but figured any cake or toastie would have been much worse. Had some crabsticks and my babybels once we got home. Dinner is nearly ready and it smells lovely :)

I bought a pineapple corer when we were out. Figure I spend £1.15 on a small tub of pineapple at least twice a week, so this way I can buy a whole pineapple and core/segment it myself. Will pay for itself in a few weeks.
