Hi,oh well, whilst you all panic about the impending price rise, may I gloat at the BG fix I got in Feb,Gas: 3.792p St Ch 14.26pElec: 18.76p St Ch 20.28pthat's including vat, and fixed until June 2023.So covered for April rise this year and the October rise, and also rise April 2023, I'm happy.0

I bet you're feeling very smart today! Well done to you! I said in last year when we were being told not to fix that these fixes might look cheap compared to what the costs will be in spring!

I took a two year fix in May last year. I will probably have a heart attack in May next year after 3 price rises. If I'm lucky I may die of the heart attack at that time so won't have to worry about the cost. I am going where it is warm

It may have all calmed down by then but if you can maybe put £25 a side each month and whack it into premium bonds for when the rise comes. You never know you might win and it's always there if you need it?1 -

Everything charged, no more washing, drying and ironing to do. Dishwasher on
So we used £2.60 more electricity than the average day this week. Which is roughly a £1.05 saving doing a few things today rather than tomorrow when the prices go up.
