Yeah your right, sorry my mistake0

Can I ask why someone transferring from the support group of ESA to Universal Credit would require a claimant commitment meeting as surely the are exempt?
I am asking this as my husband is our son's Appointee and we want to know what to expect when the time comes.0 -

You still need to agree to report all changes and that's the only claimant commitments you will have. When claiming UC for the first time, you always need to attend your local Job centre anyway.

Both of you will need to attend.

Hi there,
I was wondering if there was somewhere I could check what my payments would change to (if at all) when I migrate over to UC. Am I right in saying that everyone on ESA will change over to UC shortly?0 -

Am I right in saying that everyone on ESA will change over to UC shortly?Anytime up until end of 2024 but of course that is subject to change. How much you're entitled to will totally depend on your circumstances at the time. When you're invited to claim if you're in the Support Group for ESA then you'll be entitled to LCWRA element from the start of your claim. There will also be a transitional protection in place to make sure you're not any worse off. This will erode over time though. You can use a benefits calculator to have some idea on the figures. Remember, they're only as accurate as the information you put into them.1 -
So just about to start doing the application. Will I get transitional protection or is that only for people that are "invited" to move over?0
