Reading that I can see that they'd take the easy way out and say you weren't one of the first 10,000 🙄

What's the rest of that link which has been cut off?
Looks like http://t.urber.com/EATST&Cs but doesn't work for me.

@born_again say the chargeback was valid what would happen please?

Would the bank refund the entire payment or just the difference in what should have been charged?

If they refund the whole lot is there anything the card owner needs to do for the bank, I know from legal view point the customer needs to pay the retailer back the correct amount (or return the goods) but I just wondered what the bank actually requires.

If you was overcharged in a restaurant for example you wouldn't be able to return what you'd paid for.

You say the chargeback would fail as Urber would contest that the voucher wasn't valid, if the OP has their order confirmation to provide to the bank showing amount x and Urber have charged y is this taken into consideration?
    It would be the difference.

    Thank you for clarifying @born_again

    Thanks everyone for the help

I logged the chargeback with Barclaycard and they awarded it to me a few days later, didn't contact me to ask anything

They've sent a letter confirming the same and that the case is now closed (I initially thought they'd put the amount on freeze)

For the whole amount or just the discount? Bear in mind Uber eats can still dispute the chargeback and it be clawed back.
