    Hi Peeps,
well DH has been wombling with permission into the skip on next doors drive where there is an abundance of clean wood flooring. It will either be straight to burn or some be used for kindling. We will play that one by ear. There is at least 2 weeks supply if I just burn it at night time.

Wombling was keeping Wimbledon Common free of litter.
I have won £165 on Litter Lotto since December 2021.
All £5 prizes, but spot prizes up to £250, £1,000 weekly draw and a £10,000 monthly draw.

Get that litter in the bin and win!

Forgot to mention the other week I wombled a shopping trolley (brand new and never used) from the inlaws. They#d had it over a year and not wanted it.  That means I can walk to our local famers market every week and not have to carry the  fruit/veg back with me. So saving my arms and not having to use the car and also buying cheaper veg from the market.

    Wonderful wombles, everyone!

I have found some coins, even some left in shopping trolleys; I'd say to the tune of €3,50 now.
I'm still picking up receipts from the posh supermarket and collecting the points on them; I'm guessing I've wombled around 150 points since I last posted, which is €1,50.
I've wombled a floor lamp, which is now in our living room, replacing the nice, but damaged Ikea rice paper lamp. €5? It's only temporary until we finish the renovations.

Been out today to see if there were any blackberries left and managed to womble just over 1KG, think that will be it for this year though. So more to add to my already full top freezer drawer. So far we have been eating them on breakfast cereal and I've made a couple of blackberry tray bakes....but only when I've had to put the oven on for something else.

Got a load of apples from a tree when out walking in the woods last weekend. Kept forgetting I had them, but finally stewed them today with a spoonful of honey. Very tasty.  Will be lovely on breakfast tomorrow.

I used to get a shed load of Tesco Clubcard points from discarded receipts (pre-Covid), but since that and Clubcard Prices resulting in most people scanning a card, practically none.
Find the odd Sainsbury one though, with Nectar points being far more useful for me these days.

8p cash this week, which whilst practically nothing, goes in the jar.  Also found some foreign bank note but not sure which country (Bulgaria or some Eastern European / Slavic country as it is in Cyrillic)

Well a 2p find on the car park. It won't break the bank today but it will in the future.
