I haven't been near any shops in the last 2-3 weeks. Anyone would think I am still in lockdown mode.  I have got to the point of eating what we already have in. Is there a particular receipt that works well? asking for a friend  ;)
I'll be picking up tomorrow a TGTG bag from our nearest D*bbies that has a Sainsbobs local inside.

Wombling from home stuff is on the agenda as I am eyeing up a quilt cover that we have I like the pattern and the back is a plain colour but I don't like how it feels on the bed. There is enough material for me to make 2 dresses.

Today will be a TGTG collection at t-time at the local national garden centre. They are hit and miss about the quantity as the food comes from an "expensive" supermarket. So tea tonight could be sorted or it will be for the freezer to use with our stores.

Wombling doesn't mean picking up someone else's clutter/stuff all the time it can be our own. We have stuff and it may just simply need moving around or helping it  re invent itself. I have wombled 25p this week. Its about making do, after I had made a purchase of a shoe stretcher and started to put it to good use I am now on my 3rd pair of shoes that need some assistance in fitting me more comfortably. I did have my doubts and made sure I did not spend too much on said item and already has paid for itself, I may well be looking for another pair for the boots to be done. I will not need to make another purchase of foot wear again - excluding slippers and the odd pair of summer sandals.

I'm still wombling, even though I don't always have the headspace to note it here. Lots going on in my private life, so I'm mainly posting on the OldStyle boards. I try not to feel bad about not posting here, but it's a constant small burden in the back of my  mind. Please continue writing about your wombles; I do enjoy reading about them. For the time being, I'm absolving myself from posting here.

I would like to start Wombling mindfully again so would like to join in with this thread,  although I've always done it really. Just nice to be more aware of small gains and with everything that's going on right now it's definitely  needed!

My neighbours gave me a paddling pool for my dog. She doesn't paddle but enjoys retrieving her ball from the water and using the pool as a huge drinking bowl 😅😅

Free cans of Pepsi Max being given out in the town centre plus vouchers for 2 free bottles from supermarket

Regular visits to the YS section, it has been well stocked just recently

Been spending some Nectar points at Sainsbobs I had built up £14.60 worth, also a £4.50 Clubcard voucher

Free newspaper on bus (Metro), often has vouchers in eg for McD's

I have a free icecream to claim in my John Lewis rewards.

Since it's my birthday month I have a free main course voucher at both Zizzi and Frankie & Bennys  ( not sure if I will get round to claiming these tho )

I'm new to these forums and just finding my way round and looking for money saving ideas. Does blackberrying count as wombling? If so I am doing ok.....got quite a few that cost me nothing. And looking at the price of them, I think I've saved myself a fair amount of money

@Makingabobor2 Welcome here too. Yes anything wombled into something and has cost you nothing counts. Well done on taking advantage what is about for free. We are all having to be more resourceful with whatever we can use.
