Belovéd has just tested positive. He's been convinced from the start that I was going to pick it up at the Foodbank so in many ways I'm just relieved it's not me that brought it into the house - I did a test yesterday, negative, so that clarifies what's happened here. He's 75, fit and healthy, hasn't got any underlying health issues other than a very dodgy ankle, plays tennis twice a week and is dosed up to the max with Vitamin D, so we now just have to hope for the best.

HB sorry to hear your OH has cv19, I hope he gets better soon.Pigpen glad the seeds are now seedlings, I bet Squeak is happy, lets hope 2nd generation seeds are colour true!!Dropped OH off for his squaddie club 10 mile walk, I don't think he is strong enough yet for that sort of distance , when the most he has walked recently is about 3 miles and then he was worn out. So the deal is he will ring me when he has had enough, so sat next to my phone!Anyone got any BASIC instructions as to how to download photos from my phone to my lap top, phone is a nokia 1.4, I have the cable in the phone and laptop, but they are not 'talking' to each other, and I cannot work out how to change or what to change on the phone, google assistant, is not much help it tell me to go to settings which I can find, but what to do then..................ty.Cats fed / they are very sleepy, especially cat1 who seems dead to the world, he is not dead, as I semi woke him to check, never seen them like it, unless it is the hour change.Sea fret / mist / haha and sort of drizzle, plus it is cold east windHappy mother's day to you allDaily stuff doneBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning, just.Kaz, I'm not techie either. I tend to email myself photos from the phone then save them 9n laptop. Hope that makes sense although it may not be helpful.
I haven't been well for a few days and have had to drop out of going for Mother's Day treat today. I've also cancelled all appointments and meetings for the next couple of days to give me time to recover. Not Covid though.
There is washing on the line.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Jazee, ok thank you, but how do you email them? not done emailing from photo ever, so have no idea, maybe I need a 10 year old to help me out

Kaz, do you get the option to select a photo or photos? If so tick them and then it should give you the option of where to put or send them. Not sure if it's the same for all phones though.Spend less now, work less later.8

Kaz, you are not alone. Belovéd wasn't able to download photos from one of his old smartphones and I'm struggling to do so from my new-to-me @pplie one. I'll be trying everything anyone suggests too.Our neighbour, in his early 70s with leukemia, has also tested positive. Belovéd and he played tennis on Thursday afternoon, out in the open, and kept waaaaay apart so it looks as though we know where it happened. Fingers crossed for him please because he really is at risk but fortunately also very fit and tripled jabbed, as is Belovéd.All 10 tomato plants repotted, 20 violas planted and two blueberries potted up into their forever homes. Not a lot of flying done, but I need to make the superking bed up and clean the shower room because we've got a theatre-type arriving next Sunday, as long as Belovéd has fully recovered and I don't develop the lurgi in the meantime.Better is good enough.7

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll work through them.Had a fencing quote and nearly fell off my chair, another chap coming tomorrow to quote, other thoughts are to price the wood from the local sawmill, buy and then employ a local couple of lads to install it!OH back from his walk, he did it all, but as I thought he is very tired and has already fallen to sleep.F1 now requires my attention.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all
Phew what a weekend! Did my work thing yesterday, came home and helped DH with a bit of gardening then we opened up the folding camper and have done a bit of a spring clean on it and DH did a few DIY jobs, so we are all ready for camping adventures.
DS2 came back for Mothers Day today and we went for lunch then made a start on laying some paving for the camper to sit on in the winter.
DSs GF has just brought me some lovely Mothers Day gifts, including a massive 2kg box of Celebrations!! She is a love.
Flying is not happening enough here, I am letting things slip, the house looks tidy and clean from a distance but close up it is starting to look grubby, I need to make more of an effort.
HB my Mum is 81 and has just tested negative on day 11, she is very tired but otherwise has not been too poorly at all. Finger crossed x
