Morning all
As usual I was up with the lark and have only just had my breakfast. I really CBA typing a list of what I’ve done, but it’s a lot!
Now I have the really rubbishy stuff left on the list, like pack up eBay parcels and clear the chicken shed out. Onwards and forwards! X

Bathroom given a bit of a scrub.Layla has a pig's ear which she doesn't know how to deal with; she wants it, is guarding it from Higgs (the large black 'kitten') who always wants everything everyone else has and I rather think he would know exactly what to do with it. Layla's cautious with treats - when they're new to her she guards them but won't eat them. I remove them after a few hours and give them to her again a few days later and when they're no longer a novelty she really loves them, although that can take several attempts. So far we have her on chew sticks and yoghurt but the yoghurt took three years. Pig's ears would be useful because she could have one while we're out and it would occupy her for a long time.Masses more planting of geranium and lobelia plugs, plus two larger Lady Plymouth geraniums on the front steps because that seemed appropriate. I've finally managed to get the bags of rotting leaves under some steps which has cleared a bit of space in the yard. I've got to get at two bags of compost that are behind a great many things in the yard and I'm almost there. Slow progress but progress nonetheless. It looks as through three of my four courgette plants are hors de combat - Twiggle, the smaller of the 'kittens' is obsessed with them and has eaten the top leaves. Just as well I'm taking an elderly neighbour to the garden centre on Friday.Better is good enough.10

Stupidly busy day at the paid stuff, I have been on my own all day and the phone hasnt stopped. Cycled in again and my ankle is complaining a bit, working from home tomorrow and Friday so the bike is parked up for now.
Gorgeous sunny afternoon. Washing brought in and another loaded sorted for tomorrow. I am back at work at 6pm so I had better get something to eat. Had a good honest chat with my line manager about work stuff but not really expecting anything much to change, although it did make me feel better.
Made the bed and tidied around, better move myself before I get too comfy on this sofa.11 -

I’m sure that I must have done something but I can’t think what. Work - busy, idiot people, I didn’t even make the tea at work, so I can’t claim that as flying.Kitchendailies done (phew - finally found some flying), dinner was prepped yesterday (hm leek & brie quiche, hg leeks and a lump of LO ood brie) so no big deal today. Lunch prepped for tomorrow (LO salad and quiche).
Mademoiselle -I hope the UK trip goes ok and that you have a fab break away afterwards x9 -
And now Squeak isn't well.. I think she may have a UTI.. anyone who remembers her being small might recall hw many she had as a toddler and how long she was on antibiotics for as a 3/4 year old.. we ae supposed to be looking at a secondary school tomorrow..
OH loaded the DW, I managed to get one WM on and the stuff off the line which has been out there for maybe 3 days.
