My son tells me we don’t need the address of the bank if it’s based in England. I think I did see this somewhere, can you confirm?
(I feel I’m going mad with this. I thought I was an intelligent person but clearly not)..0 -
I cannot see why bank location would result in different completion standards. Some courts are clearly looking for bank address to be listed.

Thankyou. So English addresses are to be entered? Sorry for being thick.

I would do so.

Hi Folks,
My mum passed away and I have to apply for confirmation for the estate. There is roughly 18k left in a credit union account and in her will she has left her share of a house to myself and my two sisters which is worth roughly 50k. The other half is in my dad's name and he still lives there. I have just found this thread which will be a great help. Can I ask though if a C1 form is returned do you have to pay the court fee again when resubmitted? I am wondering whether to go to a solicitor to do this as the sheriff court have already told me that most forms are returned multiple times and they can't advise why this is. Thanks in advance.

The Grant fee is only charged once - when the application is accepted.
You could post a redacted copy of the rejected C1 if you want comment. Therre is also a lot of discussion here Grant of Confirmation (but beware of inaccuracy in some of the early posts).

Thanks Buddy9. I am just starting the process today so it's not been rejected just yet. I was just made aware today that it can be tricky with a fair bit of legal jargon so I was wondering whether I was out of my depth. I will start it and hopefully get some advice as I complete it. Appreciate the reply.

I have had my request for conformation rejected 3 times. I need some help.

You could post a redacted copy of the most recently rejected C1 - and advise of any feedback you have had from the court.
