PREMIER PARKING LTD PCN

Hi everyone,
I have received a PCN notice from Premier parking Ltd that I have parked at Exeter cathedral for 15min. Reason being was we did not enter the cathedral as they were closing in 30min so there is no point for us to pay for the cathedral entry and look around everything within 30minutes so we decided to leave the car park without paying. Did not realise we must have to pay otherwise they will penalise. Now letter came through post saying its 100.00 penalty can be paid 60.00 if paid within 14 days. Is there anything done for this?
Thanks in advance

What precisely is the reason given for the PCN? Were there signs? Is the PCN PoFA compliant? Just a few ideas. If you have a good read of the Newbies you should get an idea of the process and what you can defend on.The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.1

It is not a penalty.

Compare the NTK with the wording and timeline specified in the PoFA 2012. There is a link to the PoFA in the NEWBIES, or you can use a search engine of your choice.
If you are unsure, then post both sides of the NTK here, with your personal data redacted. Please leave the dates and location showing.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1 -
