    I like the look of the lemon iced buns, the only possible improvement would be a nice spoonful of lemon curd in its depths.

    Easter eggs are just crazy-stupid prices this year. I'm going to have a go at making my own.

    They've been crazy-stupidly cheap in some places!  The Clubcard deals at Tesco have made them significantly cheaper than buying the same amount of chocolate in a normal bar format.

    I saw a recipe for 'left over hot cross buns' on Twitter, slice in half, piece of lettuce on each half, pile with coronation chicken and top with fried red onion. 🤢🥴

    Got myself some yellow-sticker choc & salted caramel hot cross buns but I think they're way inferior to the traditional raisin type.

    No - but it looks similar to Warburtons all year round fruit loaf, which we enjoy

    (the variety with orange is very good as well)

    I can see that the fig would offer an enhancement to something with bacon (and I am a vegetarian).
