Aye, there's an ever increasing number of strangely flavoured buns, many of which bear little resemblance to that described. Other than a good quality fruit and spice one, most, to me, would be described by just one flavour - "dire." But then Mrs K often, and probably justifiably, calls me, among other things, old-fashioned.
By the way, among the increasingly exotic Easter eggs, has anyone seen a hot cross bun flavoured variety?0
