You could reply and tell the CSA they are wrong about the extortionate £70 imaginary 'fees' which have been added to the parking charge by the debt collectors (ZZPS and QDR) and would be kept by them (with VAT being payable by ZZPS/QDR) in cases where victims are scared enough to pay.

Ask them to ask their member who retains the £70 fees, what it covers and who pays the VAT on those sums each year. Because it isn't the parking firm.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Here is the clue ..... the words "our member" .....
The member pays them money so they will back them

Very few of the regulars here accept PMs, especially from posters with low post counts, so I suggest you "sanitise" your ideas and post them here.

Nothing to sanitise - I will update as appropriate if this becomes useful.

Bit of deja vu here as just had a new claim for unpaid ticket from ZZPS for a company car . After the last one I think we don't even need to make a SAR request to SABA. No NTK was sent - and it was a station car park now run by SABA - previously NCP. Just checking I have recalled correctly all the conversations and advice and that they cannot take this any further. I think they make these up now and again just relying on people defaulting to a payment. No driver identified. Date of alleged incident feb 2023 and this ZZPS letter was the first notification of it.

Should we make a SAR request or just ignore this?
1 Company car - letter only addressed to company

2 No NTK - no driver identified.
3 East Finchley station car park.

Since last year btw I had complained previously to the solicitors association and the response was  ... they could only act if the firm had wasted time trying to bring a legal claim that should never have gone to court with no chance of a successful conclusion   given the law required the driver to have been identified not the keeper in a station car park.

'As explained, please contact me if there is a determination in your favour in this matter and there is judicial criticism of the firm. This is because we cannot determine the underlying legal issue of the validity of the debt itself, this is a matter for a court. We may be able to take regulatory action after the issue of liability of the debt has been determined.
You may also wish to return to us if you or your employer are able to settle this matter by way of negotiation and the firm makes an admission that its client should not have attempted to collect the debt and the firm erred in acting for its client.

It's a debt collector's letter. Why are you even bothering about it? ZZPS is not a party to the alleged contract between the RK and SABA. Come back if SABA/QDR send you an LoC and then you can defend as the RK and tell them to save their time and money and find the driver to file a claim against.

I'd be asking myself, why are PCNs not arriving?

Is your V5C registered address with the DVLA out of date?

address is correct - I actually wonder if they don't just invent parking tickets since nothing was ever sent from SABA and certainly no previous letter reminding of any expired time limit for reduced payment. Just this letter out of the blue. Amazing that these companies are still continuing the same old tricks. Just time consuming.
