    Throw the book at them!

I really hope the CSA or SRA will investigate the connection. Please ask them to.

Please point out what you've spotted and that ZZPS and QDR letters appear (according to THOUSANDS of online accounts from victim motorists and keepers in recent years) to be one debt collector letter chain.

Just a note of caution ... in those code items where it says "customers" ... you are not their customer, so those code items would relate to how they deal with ZZPS (in QDR's case), or NCP (in ZZPS's case).

    That's how I read it.

Good point.  Unclear though, isn't it?!

ZZPS and NCP are the clients of QDR and ZZPS respectively, and only NCP would potentially have a "customer"; (although it's somewhat ironic that QDR's reply came from their "Customer Assurance Team" given that the OP's company is not a customer of anybody in these circumstances).
Which just goes to show how much bovine fertiliser they are responsible for !

7e. Take reasonable steps to ensure that the person traced is in fact the customer.

I am pretty sure that the customer is the entity being chased for a debt and that references to customers are those to which a debt collection is pursued. I imagine they cannot call us debtors because that would imply a position by default.

ab. Ensure that they take into account a customer’s domicile and the law applicable to the agreement underlying the debt.

this is the CSA complaint which really focuses on debt collection and processes used.

The SRA is different because the law society deals with solicitor/customer problems and the customer in that case IS ZZPS as opposed to ourselves. So the SRA can investigate for us because we are not clients but the law society would deal with issues for client/solicitor problems.

Yes it looks like you are 'the customer' of the DRA crawlers.  I hate the way they get away with that word and even worse, pulled the wool over the Select Committee's eyes in November by inventing the phrase 'debt resolution' when it's just an aggressive 'pay up' model of intimidation.

I have just had a response from our CSA complaint. They were supposed to respond within 8 weeks but they were 10 days outside of that. This response seems prompted by me emailing back CSA saying we had heard nothing so far. The Solicitors complaint has returned nothing! that was supposed to be a 30-35 day response. Well past that now. I welcome your comments on this pathetic response and whether there even is a next stage from our point of view.

That's not a response from the CSA.
