Thanks for comments about patio; it is by far the cleanest and tidiest part of our entire "estate" which includes the house.....
- went for a run
- one load through DW and a batch done by hand
- Mr N hoovered all downstairs yesterday so we're a bit ahead. Did a bit of tidying.
- made a flower arrangement in blue and yellow to hang on the front door. Not many blue flowers around yet.
- praise from manager received last night (10pm!) on the report from hell; final check and it's emailed off. Another will be finished this evening.
- various garden things done, lovely and sunny today.
I read through the FAQ about homing refugees; will see if they get enough accommodation offered. I think we are just too remote - although we can drive to a town within 15 mins, buses are rare, doctor's and dentist are in the next village 15mins away, so it wouldn't be ideal.
Have started dinner off; need to do drum practice and finish this report before the night is out.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.12 -
Broken record time - busy day at work, no flying done (apart from towels thrown in the wm before I left this morning), ya di da di da.
LO roast chicken turned into a sort of fricassée with lots of veg. I might even get another meal out of the leftovers with a bit of thought, and the carcass is fair game for soup. Kitchen put to bed. Too tired to do much now, but I am going to write myself a list for tomorrow, as things keep popping into my mind and I have a memory like a sieve. Also need to do some yoga, as this thread is helping to keep me accountable for that.
Narc0 - we always love a picture of your gorgeous arrangements if there is one going…10 -
have had washing out, made my bed and DW run and eptied.
More GDPR training. Exactly the same slides, and same stories, as ;last timeDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear9 -
Does sitting down admin count as flying? 🤔
Have done a bit of that anyway! Sorting Mother's Day flowers etc (£6 off today so was keen to get it done).
After bedtime and marking repotted a plant and threw away a few bills to get the kitchen neat. Now conking out xx11 -
Hi all
Lovely bike ride first thing then paid stuff finishing off with a meeting that made me feel a bit bleugh. Left my big girl pants at home today I think. Feeling fragile now.
Flying is zero, unless you count washing my mug at work.
Tomorrow is another day, going to lose myself in my library book I think.11 -
Well.. CMS suck.. their login process is ridiculous, they practically want a DNA sample from every household member.. it's ridiculous.
Dot has been a nightmare at bedtime, not too awful otherwise..
I need to do pack ups and I really don't want to.. and the DW needs doing.. and the bed needs clearing.. clearly I hate myself today .. oh well, while I am hating myself I am too busy to hate others..
note to self for tomorrow... RING THOSE 2 SCHOOLS YOU GREAT FAT PANSY!!!Oh yes, and tomorrow school have a gut from the invinctus games visiting the school.. with a prosthetic leg.. I'm thinking I should keep Dot home...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -

Lovely Narco. Morning all. I'm loving these light mornings.
Today, I am getting admin out of the way ahead of a council meeting later in the week ( yes Elbree, admin does count as flying), then I'll get dressed in scruffs, walk the dogs and then do gardening.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Love the flowers, how thoughtful!
Up and going as OH in the office today.
Bed made, clothes picked up, windows are open
Cat brushed (briefly)
Lounge cushions puffed up and tidied round
Banking and spending checked
Today is admin, ironing, more laundry and sort somewhere, anywhere.
Keep SMILING

That’s beautiful, Narc0.
YL - inspired, washing cups at work means that I do better than I thought - I actually fly every day😉.
Long list for today. I have an optician’s appointment first thing, so obviously I have been awake worrying about that since 4am - getting there, parking, getting petrol etc etc.
I need to make a trip to the allotment too. I’m not sure why I’m worried about going there, but it’s starting to become a 🐸. First jobs - get dressed, change bedding.
Have a lovely day all x10
