You are now expecting the usual letter mentioned in the first 12 steps in the Template Defence

  • questionnaire received last week, sending off tomorrow by recorded mail to the court and the parking company solicitors. Got till 5th March but have been ill. The court has recommended it follow small claims in local court

Why have you not read the Newbies/FAQ thread? You are specifically advised NOT to use recorded/signed for delivery by post. You can simply send the N180 as a PDF attachment to a single email addressed to the CNBC and the Claimant/Solicitor. If you also CC in yourself, you have an instant proof of delivery. Also, sending it by email to the CNBC, you also get an auto response as acknowledgement they have received it.

Please go and re-read the Newbies/FAQ thread and get an understanding why it is never recommended to use signed for post. If you absolutely have to use post, you should just use first class stamp and get a free proof of posting certificate from the Post Office.

There... I just saved you a few quid.

I have read that, but also on the questionnaire part in there it does mention sending it in. I will dig out an email for their solicitors too then. My initial responses were all done via email. Thanks for the advice. Sorry for not being so fully on the ball like you are, I have an awful lot going on in my life, which trying to balance and this entire situation is driving me over the edge.

We know - and that's why we come here.

Just go and read the first 12 steps again (in the Template defence first post) which tells you about emailing the DQ.

  • The email for the CNBC is ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk and you can use CSTs contact page to upload a copy of the completed N180 DQ here:

  • thanks - found email address on one of their many letters haha, so used that for CST Law. Appreciate the help. Auto response also received. Sit and wait for the next stage now. All my evidence is in folder waiting. Trying to prepare witness statements to be clear. Although unsure of myself stating all the defence quotations used in the defence bit, but working on it

Received email copy of the claimant's questionnaire today too. Looks like they are going to fight it all the way in court.

ok - confused! Just had letter through and it is a blank questionnaire, exact same thing. Says I have until 4th March to complete and submit, which I did so, in plenty of time and had the receipt confirmation and also received the copy from their solicitor by email. Will try calling the court to ask what is happening as no explanation, just resending me the questionnaire

Just forward the email & DQ to the NEW address which changed a week after you sent it.  Obviously it's shown in the sticky threads.
