I've been trying to get all my lists and finances and everything in sparkling order - alternating between that and sewing. To be honest (shhh) part of me is secretly enjoying the excuse not to do any of the bigger projects (scything the hay field!) or even go food shopping. Mr Cheery is a big fan of shopping pretty much every day and I am NOT, but we do often end up doing that anyway - at least this week he's gone without me!
I've also watched exactly what I wanted on the tv, gone to bed and got up exactly when I wanted, etc, with no reference to anyone else's schedule or preferences, and no compromises. That part of it has actually been quite nice!

My brain hasn’t been able to deal with much that involves more than one cell at a time, so much as I would like to be organising, my abilities are limited. Have delegated almost everything to Mr MV, so definitely would rather have him around than not!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Hopefully your brain will recover soon. In the meantime - go with it. Delegating is fab.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Afternoon all,
Thanks SH. Felt terrible this morning - not sure whether I just overdid it yesterday (I really didn't do much, but I was in company, although the in-laws are fine by my introvert-meter, so probably not them) or whether it was going up the stairs twice in quick (i.e. I didn't sit down in between trips) succession, but I ended up collapsing back into bed and sleeping (for about 1.5 hrs, just after I'd got up...). Feeling a bit better now - and have returned downstairs for a drink and an apple. Mr MV has popped to the office but has promised me an M&S sandwich from the work canteen on his return. Not very MSE, but he is struggling with work being very full on, trying to look after me and a lack of food in the house - I normally manage that and usually get bread from Olioers, somethnig he has neither time nor inclination to do. I have been working on a meal plan for the week (handily I'd done a freezer inventory before we went to Glasgow) and a list for a supermarket delivery - not cheap, but necessary in the circumstances. He's going to get some bread on the way home so I can make a simple lunch tomorrow as he'll be out.
I am waiting on a call back from my Cambridge boss/long-Covid friend as I need to hand back what I've managed to do so far so that someone else can finish the project before Friday. My brain is too mushy and I don't want to a) make a mess of it or b) push myself. A bit gutted and I hate letting people down but it was going to be fairly challenging to do and I just don't have it in me currently.
In MSE news, I've started doing a couple more HW free games and had a couple of small wins there - I want to expand this, but not sure my brain is up to it at the moment. Will leave it as it is until I'm feeling less foggy. But then, I think we might get back to MBing and maybe have a go at casino too as it might be a way to pay for the roof (or towards it at least).
MS things:
* PA at £33 with £5 pending
* YG surveys yesterday and today - over £30 there now
* Withdrew £5 from my original HW this morning after a win of over £1
* Mr MV has made some lovely meals using stuff from the allotment
Gratitudes:
* Nice to have a change of scene yesterday and see in-laws
* Mr MV is looking after me well
* Got the next few books in the crime series I'm reading from MIL's 'library' yesterday - it's great, no late fees! But currently working through Harry Potter as I ran out of those before I could get out.
Have a good day all!

Ooh, well done! As my mother always said, if you're 3p short for a loaf they won't let you have it - those little bits always add up!4
