Sorry to hear you have Covid, wishing you a full and speedy recovery.
I had Covid earlier this year, my symptoms at the time were mild, mainly a lack of concentration. The legacy has been brain fog which is easing but still has its moments and fatigue, 4 months later is still ever present, the severity varies, I get days where it hits me like a wall and I need to do the absolute minimum and then gradually I can increase what I can do until the next time. I feel the wall episodes and getting further apart so I am see that as a good sign.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Thanks both. That's rubbish about PC Cheery - they did send me a warning email while I was in America - sent them a snotty response back when I got back, as after receiving a warning many years ago I have always diligently done their surveys. They said it had probably been sent in error!
Bailey Babe, Mr MV still suffers from brain fog, so am very aware of that. If I end up with it a) we'll never be able to finish a sentence between us and b) I'd be seriously concerned about my ability to work (words are key to my job!). Sorry to hear you're still suffering from fatigue though - four months on is a long time. I'm sure you'll get there. It worries me though that there's no record of how this is affecting people - my friend with long Covid (who is slowly getting there but still a long way from the energetic soul she was) hasn't been referred to a neurologist because there's only one in the county - and she's got recognised long-Covid neurological symptoms - there must be thousands who have brain fog/word recall problems that are flying under the radar. I've just redownloaded the Zoe Covid app as I stopped reporting after lockdowns etc. but I'd like them to know about my symptoms.
Forgot to mention (apparently main symptom at the moment is fat fingers - keep having to retype as letters in wrong order!) that I ordered my new laptop at the weekend. Build time is 3-5 days so hopefully will be here in time for Mr MV (tested negative, so escaping on a work trip!) to help me set up at the weekend. Need to look into insurance for it (gadget insurance covers liquid spills... worth investing in I think!), but the comparison sites don't seem to be able to cope with non-standard, bought-in-Curry's varieties... any recommendations welcome!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Sorry to hear about the covid, madvix - and Baileys Babe, for what you're still going through - and you were doing first class on the rail journey too, weren't you? We've planned that for next week, specifically because of covid, but ... yeah, as you say, kind of inevitable. Keep drinking! And posting, if you can please, so we know how you are2023: the year I get to buy a car6

Thanks Karma. We were first class on the way back. But both ways it was a busy train... it could well have been the gig though - however many thousand people all singing and dancing....

Sorry to hear that Mr MV is suffering from brain fog, I hope he recovers quickly.
My parents had Covid at the same time as me but don't appear to have had any lasting effects, for which I am pleased. thing.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

I think Mr MV is on a similar timetable to you BB - he had Covid beginning of March. At least the fatigue has gone for him now but he gets so frustrated with his brain. Let's hope they can use the Zoe info to improve things (although fat chance until privatisation of the NHS by stealth is thrown out).
Good day for PA today - £22-odd pending now! Also some 1P. Am still plodding gently through work - very gently - this could have been done hours ago - and have put Cambridge work on hold for today (and tomorrow) - they know I have Covid and my long-Covid friend is my boss so plenty of sympathy/support there.
A lovely Olio friend (not the usual one) has dropped round some vit C and zinc tablets for me and offered to feed me too (I declined as it was a roast chicken dinner - cooking it in this heat?!), but so lovely of her.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
