A spouse can also register a matrimonial interest in the family home with the LR even if they aren't on the deeds.
When we made the wills our solicitor was pretty certain this was the best option for me to leave DD something. We are both clear and I'm happy I've done all I can. This is all the OP can do really, I'm happy with my will, hubby is happy with his, and we both are happy with each others (although I don't understand his logic 🙈)
Currently DD lives in his place (city centre, much more suitable), and we've all said she'd probably move out to mine (which would be hers) and he'd just move in to that (or the other one).
This is all dependant on if I go first of course..
We have often talked about putting all 3 properties into our names, but I'm not that bothered, and happy how it all is.
Hopefully the OP has made steps to amend theres, all you can really do is the best you can, on the advice you have. The OP wasn't happy with there will, but hopefully they will be.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0
