Morning all
Up at normal work time, obviously, as it is my day off. DH pushed reluctantly out of the door to the office.
Tea slurped, a couple of chapters of my (not very inspiring) book read, up, dressed, hair washed, bedding changed, wm on. It’s sunny but very frosty out - but the bedding will be going out on the line later.
Next stop - list making, especially as I - ahem - seem to have been saving my flying up for today. This may just be the most productive part of my day.
Good luck Valli, taming the crocodile.
Have good days all xx

Morning all.
I have spent the last hour and a half dealing with the frog which is arguing with the energy provider over the new DD payments. Costs may have gone up but they have not doubled in three months. Awaiting their next response.
I have art class this morning, dog walking and then fence painting with DH.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -

Good morning, it's a beautiful sunny day here and now starting to warm up. There was a hard frost this morning.
I had a lovely afternoon yesterday, tractor driving, a lovely video chat with DD1 and then having my hair done, it really boosted me.
Bed made, clothes picked up, room aired
HHI done, basket empty
WM on
DW done
Cat trays done
Downstairs hoovered
Banking & spending checked
I have admin to do and this will involve getting a file out that has been ignored for too long so I will try and sort through it a bit.
Better put the kettle on, find some breakfast and get on with this admin.
Big hugs, and have a good day

Hi ladies
Another busy busy morning that started at 7am with me cleaning the hens out. I currently have a cake in the slow cooker, have packed up an eBay parcel and will look out some more stuff to list.
I’m up to about £90 which I’m pleased with (and is very much needed at the moment). Not lighting the fire today as it’s lovely and sunny; we will snuggle under the heated throw instead xx

ASB.. that's fantastic.. I do have everyone on a list so I know who is playing along.. not many of us this month.. we will recruit more I hope
I need to continue through April and May and June.. and July lol.. so much stuff to shift!!
I'm going to declutter some crumpets and then I am heading upstairs to sort through my chest of drawers and fling what I can.
Taking clematis and potato vine cuttings today and dead headed the hydrangeas while Squeak planted seeds.. we will have a flowery garden this year. It was dul and muddy the last few.

ASB, Pigpen, Kaz, well done on the selling
I'm with you on the decluttering, just not selling stuff. I can't cope with having stuff lying around 'waiting' and we have a fantastic tip/recycle which takes everything that's good and once a week the different charities and associations and an experienced valuer go in and decide what they want. I've never been a regular financial donator to any causes so I hope some of my decluttering has enabled others to benefit.
Currently in the filing cabinet which isn't going to benefit anyone else but at least rubbish is leaving the house. I read my old school reports before letting them go and wasn't surprised to see comments about being untidy (I was at boarding school).
My bin is filling up nicely!
Lunch prepared, eaten and cleared away
Post all dealt with
Phone call made to book an appointment made, it only took 3 minutes and I'd been putting off calling for weeks.
Need to put my big girl pants on and big smile this evening as I need to go to the town hall (ok tiny village) and speak to the mayor about planning permission.
Off to continue decluttering something, somewhere, anything, anywhere.9 -
Lawns cutInside of windows all cleaned, cats say no more.Off to post office, I hear stamps are going up in price in April, so I'm going to ask what the new parcel prices is so I can adjust my eby postage price. For those that use vinted, how do they make their money, if they don't charge fees?Mentally in my mind, (while cutting the grass) I get to thinking, I am going to car boot ALL my clothes that have NOT been worn for 6 to 9 months, slinky is back on 9 lbs so far, nothing is going to fit soon! plus DSS(2) has sent out wedding invites, so I'm going to need something for that, time to start trawling the charity shops I think. But I have no idea what type of wedding it is, neither does his father (OH), ie smart, formal, informal etc. I've never met or had contact with the bride, so don't really want to contact her until OH has.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
