Piggers did you see my post about Royal Mail doing collection of parcels? I do that nowadays to save me a trip to the PO.
Fire lit, wood chopped, hens and ducks happy, dinner in SC.. you get the picture!
DS birthday next week and his only request is a candle! Bless him.
Sending everyone love and light. It’s hard at the moment and our collective friendship will keep us afloat xx

iona.. appointment?? what appointmentI cannot tell my daughters they MUST go and not go myself.. that would be way out of line and hypocritical of me.
Rebekah.. I just tell myself is it a one time thing.. I hope yours goes well though and isn't too traumatic.
I am so tired, I slept really badly because I was in so much pain.
I suggeted to OH a few days ago that we book a travelodge one weekend so we can visit his mother and various other people he wanted to spend time with.. no specific weekend.. but because he was being a kn0b he didn't speak to me about it so he has booked the weekend Squeak is doing her performance so we can't go.. and we can't do the weekend after because it is Jazzles birthday.. why are they such idiots at times? If he had actually spoke to me I could have told him all of this and done it properly.. but oh no, I am the unreasonable, ridiculous one... ggrrr....
£10 sale of a jumper I need to package and post.
I have half a dozen more things from yesterdays pile to list as well.. all the flings!! Someone messaged to tell me the label says 14 and I listed as 12... read the listing description petal!!
I have several bags/boxes of wool to sort through.. I might even get rid of some.. who knows.. stranger things have happened! I just need it stacking neater, it is very messy right now.
How is everyone else on the £200 in March Challenge doing?? I need to add up my sales so far, I think I'm at about £35ish.Thank you. They were running a little late (when aren't they?!) but had it done in just over half hour. I've been having pain in the root of the tooth since part one of the root canal but he didn't seem bothered so plowed on with part 2! So it's done now. My bite feels off but it's new so to be expected I guess! Face still feels a bit dead but I can feel it ok when I touch it on the skin so just tender I guess. Paaah feeling sorry for myself lol. Still glad thats out the way as i've had infection in it since last April! On the flying front all i've done is put on the diswasher! So off to tidy sides etc now i've just had some soup for a late lunch!Hope everyone else is ok! It's a sunny day here for once. So looking forward to getting laundry outside again! Not far off now ... Althoguh need to find a new location for the whirley jig as the chicken run is now where it used to go - oops!10 -

I've bought Pixie some bigger school dresses.. the age 11 are about 4 inches above her knees now (at 8.5) Hopefully they will see his year outDot made pasta salad at cooking club, broke the tub I sent her in with.. I guess that is one thing decluttered!!I am absolutely exhausted.
Nail fix again tomorrow, I have 2 need replacing, including one of the one the inexperienced tech has done twice in the last 2 weeks. it does not fill me with confidence for when my usual lady goes on maternity leave in 2 weeks.

Evening all,
Joined Iona in the WAC from 2am, so I’m holding out for a good night’s sleep tonight.
Dinner (stir fry) cooked, put in extra noodles to bulk it out and make enough for 2 noodle salad lunches.
Towels put into wm this morning before I left for work, and it seems DH was able to get them outside for most of the day to dry /freeze on the line.
DH has “repaired” the holes he took out of the walls. Think more plugs than drill holes, so the plugs have been slotted back in….and are tastefully held in place with strips of masking tape 😭. Still, better than the drill holes he made in the kitchen ceiling that date back 15 years, I suppose.
That’s me done for this evening. DH is actually going to the office tomorrow, so I promise that it will be a day of lists.
Round - is it seriously 7 weeks since Pops and Babs went to Spain 😳?? Where has that time gone.

Amidst various unsuccessful attempts to finish the accounts today, I have
- been kind to DH because he developed another problem since last night - the GP reckons it's another of the Covid leftovers
- taken a sample to the surgery
- been to Mr @1d!
- done WMx3 and TDx3 (can't reach up to hang out)
- prepped lunch
- walked Rosie
- fetched DH's prescription
- cleaned the ensuite
- cooked a roast chicken dinner [nom-nom]
and now I'm going to have some Me Time, joining in with an online discussion about photography and how we see things9 -
Hi all
Busy day at the paid stuff, home to make two shepherds pies, make the bed, put the fleecy blanket off our bed in the wash, clean out the fire and dust and hoover LR which didnt get done yesterday.
Did a pilates type workout first thing and a brisk 20 minute walk at lunchtime. Frost forecast overnight so no cycling to work tomorrow, its going to be windy too and I dont fancy doing a Mary Poppins on the bike.
Grilled some halloumi for a salad for my lunch today and there is some left for tomorrow. Curry tomorrow night. Must go to the library tomorrow, in fact I will go and gather library books up now and put PJs on.
Hope DH is OK Iona x9 -
well...
it's been a day and it will be another tomorrrow. But having DD home means someone is supervising drying laundry.
work tomorrow, covering sick colleague. I have to take the Y1s on a walk. Next to the road. Thoughts, wishes, guardian angels, Gods etc need to be invoked if you have any.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear8 -
Good luck Valli! I love seeing the little ones in their crocodiles but don't envy those in charge 😬I've done some of the kitchen, DW, pack ups, emails sent, plants watered and am ready for tomorrow so now should go to bed but am just sitting, building up the energy to go....8
