Well today has been quite successful

All food from stores -meals from stores did have to pop out for a few bits and got some cake for tonight...£1.20 extra spent
Meal plan for the month -done
Seperate shopping for the month into shops, click and collect where i can - food shop done for delivery tomorrow, £1 delivery £206 spent but that is everything for every meal this month, along with fresh stuff for this week, now i have £94 for the rest of the month, i am aiming for £25 a week...heres hoping. I am still not sure how 5ainsburys is cheaper than elsewhere but it is!
General housework - done a lot more than i was planning
Maybe visit a friend - not done as was bust cleaning
Look into gym membership for a short period i need some motivation and i have more time atm to go due to holidays. - will do tonight
Do a survey worth £20 voucher, this will be used for some new wall paper in my bathroom i think - done
I have done lots today and really feel a shift in my view on the house, it is full of clutter...mainly just things for just in case but the rubbish is barely used so i have been sorting it out bit by bit, i am feeling happier in myself by making a start in having the house i want (hopefully using the things we have already as i cant afford anything else) but i want to try and freshen our home up!
No idea on tomorrow's plans yet will try and see what i can do tonight after tea!0 -
Its a bright and early morning here.
I hurt my leg a few days ago and it is still hurting me, i think all the running about and cleaning yesterday did not help, so i woke up when it was hurting this morning. Will have some pain relief shortly.
Yesterday was a successful day as i got lots done and also helped changed my way of thinking..well hopefully so i am going to continue to try and think positively about positive changes i can make and praise when it is done or being executed as i seem really critical of myself when even the small steps should be praised.
I didnt look at gyms yesterday as my leg is in too much pain atm so once i am feeling better I will start looking.
Have tickets for an event tonight, seriously not feeling it so will either give it a miss or may have to ask mil to come over for my shopping delivery tonight (messed it up as didnt realise the date)
Today plans include
All meals from stores
First load of washing in, one to go after it and all washing to br dried outside today.
Put away washing later when its dry so it doesn't build up
Downstairs housework today
Sort ransom clutter thats downstair and seemingly breeding everywhere i look.
Keep energy under £3
Contact energy company regarding smart meter update
Maybe make a start on cleaning my Downstairs windows
Tidy up the garden.
Thats all for now will update later0 -
A busy day again, managed to do a lot of what i wanted plus visit my friend which was lovely as we haven't done it in a while. Tidied the front garden a little and the back, nothing major just some weeds still got plenty to keep me going. Done all my jobs except put washing away will do it in a bit after a quick bath, all food from stores today was really nice and enjoyed it.
On the debt front i have worked our how much my debt has reduced since my last tally in May, the details are below. Not massive numbers but for the first time in years it is reducing and not increasing and i am making payment to all debts, it is baby steps once my zopa is paid i will start snowballing the credit cards and work my way up, that extra £25 a month will soon add up to paying both cards offas once i have done the first one it will be £75 a month towards the debts and then i will feel more empowered as more will be going quicker.
Natwest overdraft £2000
Zopa £20
Safety net £375
Capital One £122
Capital One £217
Aqua £1436
Loan £1645
Lowell £230
Lantern £675
Natwest loan £5512
Eon £924
Total was £13,721 now £13,336
A reduction of £385 since May.
A total of 9% has been paid off since my LBM in March.
Got shopping coming shortly, had some substitutions that i get a voucher for the difference...so will do my fresh order using it next week and need to send 2 items back that we don't like. Will also need to buy more dog food as they haven't sent my full order but that can wait until next week as i will have enough for this week.
Planning on a relaxing evening with dd and oh maybe play some games and watch a film later. I need to get organised with plans for the holidays so we don't just waste it away!
Right off for a quick bath then finish my jobs off before a relaxing night with oh and dd.
Tomorrow's list atm will be
Dd at her club, take drinks with us.
All food from stores
take Dog to groomers
Oh is at work so a girls pamper evening with dd using what we have in

More tidying in the garden
Sort out excess blankets...i seem to have loads and it is taking lots of my storage space...also sort curtains out too.
Look for small blind for small kitchen window, so i have an idea of price.
Thats all for now i may add tomorrow depending on how productive my day is going0 -

Look for small blind for small kitchen window, so i have an idea of price. - looked cant get a really small one but can get a small.one for £5.50 and cut it down a bit.
I have done lots i find with writing my lists when i get bored i come back look at the list and do something else and when i am not being idle i am not spending.
Right off to wash up and sort some blankets and curtains out to create some space!1 -
Done all my jobs today and feeling really accomplished. Had a lovely evening with dd we watched a film and did home made face masks!
Sorted some random blankets and old curtains out i will never put up, also found a pair that i forgot about and I am trying to see if I can work them back into the house, maybe the hall they are quite neutral but would need some new wall art but i may have something upstairs from when we decorated my bedroom that may work, i will have a proper look tomorrow.
I am loving being back on here giving myself lists to get on with especially being off work it is hard not wasting your time or spending with money i dont have! The house is looking better and it is making me feel better, i am hoping to keep it up.
Plans for tomorrow:
All food from stores
Dd has her club £3 to spend.
General housework
All washing to be dried outside, need it dry as the bedding i took off today needs washing and it takes up the whole basket so looks bad.
Quick empty of rubbish in my car, although my bins are nearly full and they don't come to collect for a few more days.
Book a day out using a gift voucher i have.
Watch the womens football match.
Make a start on cleaning the windows, if i do 1 window a day we will get there (its the worst job for me as i hate it)
Collect a parcel from mr A, its school uniform and resist buying anything.
Plan my week so dd isnt bored everyday and weve got something to do!
I am off to find something to watch with a cup of tea before bed!1 -
Just a quick one from me, most jobs done today, except tidy my car will do that tomorrow. Spent £1.72 in Mr A on some reduced bread for the freezer, some reduced grapes and some eggs. Also spent £25 on petrol which gave me 112 miles and my car is an eco car, its very depressing atm
Feeling really in control of my spending will update in the morning for tomorrow's list!0 -
Its lovely and sunny here, first load of washing is in and second is ready to go, oh has his instructions as i have taken dd out for the day to my mums holiday home for the day. Dd is currently eating some lunch mum had in and has been playing with the other children. Not quite sure what we will have for tea as i forgot to collect something from the freezer, chippy tea would be expensive but the small Mr T here is also expensive but i may just grab a pizza and some frozen chips for tea, aiming for £5 spend at the most today.
Todays plans:
All washing dry outside (oh is currently in charge of this)
General housework - done this morning before we came out
£5 spend for tea
Take dd to the park just outside the park
Tidy car (i can do this shortly when dd is playing)
Enjoy the sunshine
Help my mum with some jobs she needs to do here.
Order dd blinds using voucher from survey will collect them tomorrow
Put any washing away tonight that is dry.
Thats all i can think of for now0 -
Today has been lovely, a nice chilled day, oh sent me £10 to get dd something nice we had an ice cream and i got a pizza meal deal total spent £19.75 (i got my niece an ice cream too) but cost to me was £9.75 after ohs contribution but weve had a whole day out for less than £10 dd has had a lovely time, she even had a shower there so it saves some electric and gas at home!
Oh has done all the washing and got it in the only thing i havent done is tidy my car as it has been really warm but i will quickly empty the rubbish now before we leave.
Tomorrow's plans:
Dd at her club, will take drinks.
General housework
Dry all washing outside
All food from stores
Nsd
Order and collect dd blinds using voucher
Clean at least 1 window
Have a relaxing morning at home
Bake a cake, i have all the stuff and need a nice treat!
Thats all i can think of for now! Will return in the morning

Such a fresh morning, its very cloudy here but still bright!
Woke up still tired so will have a cup of tea before starting the day. Looked at finances today, its not looking great but hopefully next week when oh gets paid it will settle things up a bit.
Am feeling a bit sluggish today so caffine will be powering me for a bit, also i have decided i am joining the gym it is £15 initially then £30 a month at my local leisure centre there are other cheaper ones but the distance is about 15-20 minutes away by car and thats without traffic the local one i can walk to, this will be my luxury spend as i rarely buy new clothes, i have given up smoking and hardly drink (probably 5 times a year at a push) i am feeling down about my weight so much recently and i need to do something to feel better in myself, also if i need something to do rather than spend i will go to the gym, i feel like i have to justify it but i think if i am making cut backs elsewhere, and i know i will make use of it it is justified but i am at a point now i am monitoring everything and going into detail its hard to let myself have anything.
Todays plans:
Dd at her club, will take drinks.
General housework
Dry all washing outside
All food from stores
Lsd
Order and collect dd blinds using voucher - ordered will collect later this morning, cost me £2.50 as i needed to make the total up to use all my voucher
Clean at least 1 window
Have a relaxing morning at home -maybe not quite relaxing but i will potter around the house
Bake a cake, i have all the stuff and need a nice treat!
Join the gym and collect membership card
Put clean washing from yesterday away
Right off for a cup of tea then to start with my list of moneysaving chores2 -
Had a very productive day, i did everything on my list, spent £2.50 to make up my blind and £8 on an event ticket for dd that shes going tomorrow with her friend, got a voucher for food for the day out i will send with dd friends mum so no more spends for that, cleaned all my windows so in front with my list, also £15 joining fee for the gym.
Tomorrow's list:
General housework
Do 1 load of washing amd dry it outside
All food from stores
Take dd to her friends with gift voucher for food (its a £25 voucher so will cover dd and her friend)
Take dd to the dentist in the morning
Go to the gym tomorrow i am aiming for twice a week but anymore is a bonus
I keep looking at last minute holidays, we couldn't afford one but it is keeping me going to think one day we can book a holiday and not be in debt. Me and oh spoke yesterday about our future plans, we would like to retire to a home abroad so as motivation i started looking i found a beautiful villa and it was just us, that is my motivation to stop spending and start saving once we are debt free. It may sound silly but if i have a plan even if its for in 30 years time or 80 years time its a long term goal that would be amazing for me and oh to aim for.
My positivity is growing and I am feeling more in control of having a future without debt than ever before and i feel amazing for it! I am hoping it continues!
Right off to bed now ready for a busy day tomorrow!2
