Today in South Lincolnshire Boiler Juice is just under £2 per gallon.
What a bargain!  I assume you mean £2 a litre
You cannot buy under 500 litres.
I think that's pretty much standard for all oil companies - it certainly is around here
    Sainsburys £165.9 for diesel.
If push comes to shove, it's almost worth getting a few jerry cans and buying that diesel to stick in your oil tank - it's near enough the same stuff, and if it's cheaper than what the oil companies are quoting ......
I wouldn't suggest doing it long term, but actually if you ever find yourself in a pickle and just need 50 or 100 litres or so to tide you over for a few days .....

  • I ordered a fill up 2 days ago via an oil club at 82.5p. We are in rural South Lanarkshire.

I checked a few other suppliers before ordering and they were all in the 130p area!

So it's +1 for the oil club, impressive that they chose not to gouge.
In our case, I've never beaten the oil club price since joining it 2 years ago, though I still check.

Be careful with valueoils btw, the quote they display doesn't include their commission, which you may not notice has been addded on when you go to pay.

Is that https://www.oil-club.co.uk/ ? I've also always found them competitive (along with
    http://theheatingoilclub.co.uk/
), but neither are quoting where I am at the moment.

    Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

    Make £2024 in 2024...
  • Local syndicate quotes 88p this morning, so I ordered 500l
  • 500l arrived yesterday @88p/l.  Enough to last me to halfway through the next winter.  Will keep an eye on prices over the spring/summer and get another 500 when hopefully demand lessens a bit more.

Definitely falling in my area as well.  Got a quote of £0.853 for 1500 litres this morning.

I am fortunate to have enough oil in the tank to see me through well into the Autumn, so I'm going to sit tight for now and keep monitoring the prices.
