Just signed up to the forum to say (as suggested by @oldandwizend) that I called EON this morning 3rd March at 11:26, took a long time to get through, spoke to a nice lady and explained that I had been trying to call since last week and not been bale to get through to take an offer that had been emailed but had heard it had been withdrawn, she said is that the V11? I can apply that to your account no problem. I thanked her and she has put me on the fixed tariff. So still worth calling up and being polite.

V11 is technically gone - you won't find it on their website and when you call, a recorded message tells you it's gone.

I waited on the phone for a full hour waiting to speak to someone and after checking with a supervisor she put me on V11.

You may be lucky if you call today but I got the impression they won't be honouring it for long.

Will they flat out refuse v11 if your email says only v12?

The only way to know is to call them and ask.

I just called up and said that I had an email about a rate increase with an offer. Never said what offer. The lady at EON said was it V11 so I just said yes and she said no problem she could still do that for me. Maybe I was lucky - she did say they know people have been struggling to get through since MSE had said that V11 was a great deal.

I called up in the morning...waited for about 30mins on the phone.  I mentioned about the email only to be told no they cannot offer it anymore and V12 is what I can only get.

Called again just around lunchtime, again waited for about 30mins and this time a different lady answered, offered it to me more or less straight away.

So, it really depends on who you speak to.

Just done the same and managed to get v11 fix for 2 years, only difference to the 1 year fix is the daily standing charge is c. 13p more per day so extra £48.54 per year.

    With no exit charges it's a no-brained really 🙄

There isn't a V11 2 year fix, it must be another tariff they've put you on

This is so disappointing to see that people are still being offered the v11 when I rang them just in the last 15 minutes and was told point blank that it was no longer available, with no other option than to choose another.
