Ma'am.. it is beautiful.. but I wouldn't want to live there.. I can see why others would though
OH can shove the tap money where the sun doesn't shine.. I do not need his help.. I will get the summerhouse today.. myself.. and I will save up for the tap and buy that myself too.. he can shove the money we had saved in his account and I hope it brings his miserliness much happiness.. it was supposed to make life easier for us which it will not do sat in a bank account while we struggle in the kitchen in a dangerous environment with a broken sink and broken tap... I will do it myself like the Little Red Hen and he will not be welcome...
I am quite unforgiving and we were in a really good place and he has spoiled that with his rude and hurtful comments and his selfishness.. I am not responsible for that.

Morning all,
oh wow, Mademoiselle, just wow. I don’t know how you can leave it, so can’t wait to see what the coast house is like - stunning I imagine.
Exciting news, by my standards…I booked our ferry to France for the first time in 3 years! Not until September, so obviously my mind is in overdrive of all the things that can happen before then, but DH and DD are both so looking forward to it. I’ve warned our friends that we are coming, and we are ready to roll up our sleeves to help out at the local festival when we get there. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it all happens as hoped.
So back to the mundane - I have a list for today, I’m hoping that the promised drizzle happens as I have too much to do to go for a walk with a friend, no matter how much I need that exercise.
Round 1:
bedding changed, wm on, bedroom window flung open
hair washed.Second cuppa now needed, then round 2 - rehouse some gibble and remake the bed.
Hugs to all, back later xx9 -
Mademoiselle, it's a beautiful home just waiting for somebody to buy it! Is that the real cat on the mantlepiece?
Fayolle, I'm so glad that this year you and your family have that holiday to look forward to xxx
I have bagged everything up for the bank / PO / CS / church / friends, cleared some papers off the study floor, and will be off into town soon.
This afternoon Rosie has to go to the vet, which she will hate, so afterwards I will try to take her up the big hill for a change, if I have any energy left.
Sunshine here. Hope everyone has a good day xx

off to find some clothes and list some stuff to fling.. I need £1800 in the next couple of months.. and PT FLea over there can shove every penny up his wazoo... Dots summer house first.. I don't much towards that, about £200 I think, I have the rest in my V!nted and Chip accounts already .. I thought I'd have enough then discovered a few bills I had to pay... and £250 for mesh on the solar panels on the 23rd.
It add up fast all the £4's here and there. Makes me happy watching it add up.
ooh.. sunshiny.. I can hang out washing.. I will do that once I am dressed..

Morning all xx
Late up but nothing spoiling. Still recovering from the more than usually torrid week at work and thinking I was going to lose Sweetie on Sunday. This couple of days Annual Leave is a godsend. Gives me time to breathe and gather myself together again.
Oh my Mademoiselle - all that floor!!!! The cat made me smile. 😊
Round 1
Shower and wash hair
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the recycling
WUDUPA x 2
Laundry shuffle
Put airer away
Brew 2 and breakfast first.
Be kind to yourself.

Thanks for your lovely comment about the house, I love it, have always loved living here but it's now too big and more importantly in the wrong part of the country. Yes it is a real cat on the mantlepiece. Our house near the coast is completely the opposite, new beige rendered house, with a bit of stone cladding. Light tiled floors and white everywhere. Straight walls and electricity that is up to current standards. I will be sad to leave here with so many memories, big family parties etc but looking forward to the next chapter.
Whole house hoovered
Half the stairs washed
Cat trays done
Hob cleaned
Fayolle, how exciting to have the crossing booked, we've planned when we are going to UK but not booked anything yet as not sure how long to go for. I think I'll just book a crossing and then see who's about to visit.
Better get on with some lunch as OH due home

Update from me:
washing hung up indoors, as it is mizzling outside
downstairs dusted and vacuumed, kitchen needs attention but it is more than a damp cloth can resolve.
Having another cuppa, then it is operation bathroom. I might even mop the kitchen floor, but DH will no doubt want to walk all over it to have an early lunch due to some work meeting or other. This afternoon's plan is to get some tomato seeds started and then the dreaded paperwork…yawn…
Iona - wish that I lived nearer, as I would happily take Rosie up that hill for you xx
Round - is Sweetie ok after his fright? xx
Mademoiselle - I have booked a fully flex ticket, just in case, thanks to the ferry company offer that was on until last night. Last minute, or what, here. Luckily our friends are accommodating! I’m sure that there will be some flyladies around if your friends aren’t when you come over!9 -
£350 of sales listed.. if any sell at all I wil be happy.. so much stuff and so little room!!
Away to hang out the next 2 loads of laundry and get the next 2 loads in.. there are about 100 loads to get through.
Gutter guy coming back later as we are still leaking!
