So assuming they took the best part of a week. Which I got letter through the post very quick. If no update by end of the month I'm pretty much home dry?0

The CCBC sent you a letter saying the Claimant had twenty eight days to consider your Defence. What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant. It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a Directions Questionnaire as promptly as you might like. Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course?2

Ok so MCOL has no update but i have just received a letter from dcb legal saying the client intends to proceed with the claim, they've enclosed a questionnaire and the client may be prepared to settle the case if i call them within 7 days0

Is it worth calling them? Or just carry on with the questionnaire?0

Read other threads ... this is normal and happens in almost every other case where DCB Legal are involved.
Ignore the questionnaire - not sure why you think there's any necessity to complete and return it?Jenni x3 -
No-one phones DCBLegal, ever!
Nor do you fill in that Questionnaire they sent you.
All this is standard and in the first 12 steps in the first post of the Template Defence thread. Please revisit it, and also the info linked under the RED heading in capitals in the NEWBIES thread, called 'IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I read they are taking on extra staff to cope ? Well it cannot be for the scam parking industry because in 2023 with a new appeals service in place, their workplace will become less and less
The parket ticket in most cases will be £50 and only a fool and his dog would take that the court ?
YOU must now wait to see if they issue a court claim, who knows but be assured that the regulars on here are far smarter than any of these legals2 -
This really is a long winded process isn't it. Last update on MCOL is that DQ filed the questionnaire 25/05/22
