Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

So I have sent a complaint to Moto. How will I know if it's been cancelled or not if they don't reply. Will the status of the claim be on the money claim website or????

I'd expect Moto to reply to you. They won't be cancelling it via the MCOL website, the claim isn't theirs, so only GroupNexus/CP Plus can do that. You can check the status of your parking charge on the CP Plus website, but I wouldn't expect any cancellation to be instant, if at all.

Assume they won't cancel (because MOTO are playing hardball and toeing the CP Plus line now).  Crack on with drafting the facts to add to the template defence.

So I have gone onto CP plus website to check status but it says as it has been sent to a debt recovery agent they can no longer be of assistance.

Does this mean that Moto cannot cancel it anymore?

No, it does not mean that. As it says, all it means is that CP Plus will not deal with you.
Wait patiently and hope that that statement changes over the next week or two.

Yes but it doesn't matter...I already warned you not to expect MOTO to cancel it.  So did @Umkomaas:
