You could get an adaptor that connects to either an HDMI socket or the optical out and converts the signal to a headphone output 3.5mm socket1

Hello coffee,
Thank you, clearly, I've not much of a clue, I think I'm better off going to go to Curry's and asking (no offence to anyone for their advice / recommendations)I'm hopeless with technology, in addition, I suffer with MH issues, what may appear simple, I struggle with, may I ask, please be patient, thank you0 -
Just the first thing I came across via Google:

I'm sorry I suffer with MH, fyi, it's not a choice I made, as helpful as you appear with your post, having a understanding that some people are less fortunate than yourself, would go a lot furtherDrinking Rum before 10am makes you

One thing to bear in mind is that 1. you need optical as there is no TV headphone socket and 2. optical outputs are not volume controlled thus you will either need a volume control.on your headphones or a bluetooth transmitter with an optical.input AND a remote to control volume.1

Thanks for all the comments, I went to Curry's, whilst they don't have it in stock, I was advised this is what I need

If I buy it from Amazon, will any headphones do, or will I require specific ones?I'm hopeless with technology, in addition, I suffer with MH issues, what may appear simple, I struggle with, may I ask, please be patient, thank you0 -

If I buy it from Amazon, will any headphones do, or will I require specific ones?See the following underlined in red on the product you linked to:
I don't think that would be suitable for you but just wanted to make you aware before you click the "buy" button.
Generally speaking you will get better advice on these forums that you would at Curry's, however a lot of commenters just share the first link from Google or their favourite cheap headphones without really taking the time to understand the specific issue with the connectivity of your TV which isn't very helpful. As a result all but a couple of comments above are useless.
But having said that, looks like Curry's missed the mark as well with a product that is possibly unsuitable unless you don't watch YouTube / Netflix and have a volume control on your headphones.
