You can't add Bluetooth to the TV directly but you should be able to achieve a Bluetooth connection via a Bluetooth Transmitter/Dongle:https://www.headphonesty.com/2019/10/best-bluetooth-audio-transmitters-tv/ has a few examples

Hello Neil,
Thanks for the link, sadly, all the information contained is way above my intelligence level, no offence, it's just gobbledygook to me.
Am I better off returning these, and just getting a wired pair suitable for my TV?I'm hopeless with technology, in addition, I suffer with MH issues, what may appear simple, I struggle with, may I ask, please be patient, thank you0 -
I bought these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07T1KZQV9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1they are not what some would call high-fidelity but they can be used via BT or via a Jack so they will work with either, I am old and my hearing is not as good a 25 year old but when I was 25 BlueTooth was science fiction. but the supplied cable is only about 1.25 m but cables are also cheap.

Hi, I have some Panasonic headphones and they are now on offer at Argos -

(sorry the link is so long!)
But they are brilliant - assuming you have a headphone jack on your television. I've had mine for a couple of years now and they continue to serve me well.
At £9.99 you can't go wrong - and the cable is long enough so you can watch TV comfortably, no need to buy any extra.

Argos website you can just take the catalogue number (in that item's case 534/0882), remove the / and paste it as thus for a much cleaner link:1

I think we should stop pandering to the 'I'm a Technophobe' mentality......
Read the instructions that came with your headphones and then see here for your TV instructions.

Your TV does not seem to have bluetooth so no - these (and any bluetooth headphones) will not work with your TV.
As above you could buy a bluetooth transmitter, plug that into your TV and then use them.
Check, but it doesn't look as if the TV has a headphone socket so the bluetooth transmiter will have to be connectable by optical cable.
Suggest you go back to Currys for help.1 -
From the model number it's a 32" TV? Therefore you are probably sitting close enough to make it easy to connect directly by wire which would avoid the bluetooth complications. As said, you could get an extension lead for the phones if that makes life easier1

I'm sorry I suffer with MH, fyi, it's not a choice I made, as helpful as you appear with your post, having a understanding that some people are less fortunate than yourself, would go a lot furtherI'm hopeless with technology, in addition, I suffer with MH issues, what may appear simple, I struggle with, may I ask, please be patient, thank you1
