            Good spot! 😲
And they were last active at the time of making their OP. Jenni x0 Jenni x0

Maybe they'll be back in another 17 years to update us, could be- "don't use overnight electricity to charge your cars, it wont work during the day".Jenni_D said:
To be fair, not replying within 9 hours of posting (at 10pm) isn't exactly being "silent".TimSynths said:Come on Sue- come back and give us some garage insights and tips. Seems such a strange first ever post then followed by silence. 0 0

Yes, we'll all be talking about that smelly flammable liquid we used to have to pour into our cars to make them go. And reminisce that it used to be possible to exceed speed limits and even hit other cars if you closed your eyes whilst driving.Grumpy_chap said:

Have you never wondered why they sell off the overnight electricity cheaper than the daytime stuff?
 If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1

Is it because there is generally more wind overnight? Ectophile said:TimSynths said: Ectophile said:TimSynths said:

That’s what’s happened to all these value investors. Maybe they should move to where the fish are.” Charlie Munger, vice chairman, Berkshire Hathaway0 “Like a bunch of cod fishermen after all the cod’s been overfished, they don’t catch a lot of cod, but they keep on fishing in the same waters. Base load generating stations (nuclear, coal-fired) can't just be switched on and off - once they're going you need to keep them going for best efficiency. As demand is much lower overnight then reduced pricing is offered to try and increase that demand to avoid having to reduce the base load generating capacity, which would cost the generating companies more in lost efficiency than the reduced sell price per unit costs them. Kia Picanto, 2012, no trouble with E10, fuel consumption is about the same as E5. Wifes 2002, 206cc also has no problems., running or consumption. We regularly see the express and DM pushing this when there's nothing much to report.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I guess Op is hoping that they can boost their profits before they have to pack in as they can no longer ( insert own phrase) customers when we are all running EV's 🤣Life in the slow lane0
