Hi
Have given up myself recently (2 weeks,2 days so far) and i can thouroghly recommend the giving up smoking thread. Read Allen Carr and dont feel bad about it. I know i will not go back and if i drank Baileys ( Dont know what you lot see in it :rotfl: ) I would,as ray suggests, buy the bl**dy proper one too. Giving up smoking is the best thing you can do to help financially and medically so treat yourself. Good luck and hope to see you soon on the giving up smoking thread. Try not to get addicted to baileys though :rotfl:

Cheap Baileys is awful - I think OP has took comments on the chin came to a solution that worked for her and then been praised with a but!
Sod the but you have done really well and goodness me you deserve the pucker Baileys!
You have decided to have a healthier, wealthier future so cheers to you!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
If you are trying to give up fags, you should steer clear of any alcohol. Not only weakens your will power but actually can make you crave a cigarette.
Failing that try Asda, Baileys was only £8 on Friday.Tallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!0 -
Hi
I am back - and have been smoke free for 1 hour. Pats herself on back. Thank you all for your lovely helpful comments, and I can tell you all that I am now split between 'Baileys 'cos I deserve it' or 'Something else 'cos I want to save money'.
I will let you know which side of my conscience wins!
As for the stripy food, given that the girls will never have seen a stripy packet, I plan to tell them it is the latest in organic marketing. Anything stripy is organic and VERY good for you.... As long as I get them to try it and eat it, all will be OK!0 -
Well done - just take it an hour at a time, and keep congratulating yourself every time you get through one. :T :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Just wanted to wish you good luck for ditching the cigarettes. I used to spend over £10 a day on them, but have been away from them for 15 months now. As mentioned aboved, check out the stop smoking thread.
Also, may I say that this thread title is my favourite of all time. It will only be usurped when someone starts the 'lots of naked pics of Freddie Ljungberg, Brad Pitt and David Beckham all frolicking with baby oil' thread.I'm the only gay in this forum

Co-op currently has 2 for £16 on Baileys, so go there and treat yourself! You could buy one "normal" and one mint. And then invite us all round to share...Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Loving the stripey food is organic 'fib'.........fabulous......you should be in marketing
I personally prefer Carolans to Baileys - it has more of a honey flavour and is a bit softer tasting (to me). I don't think we are criticising, I think we are just suggesting more options."Stay Wonky":D
