Oh wow!! Less than a month and the days of debt busting will be behind you!! Do you have any plans finance wise after you have written your well deserved speech on the DF Roll of Honour board? xDebt Remaining: £8,781.53
3 Month EF: £1,000/£4,494

Thanks @beanielou @Deleted_User @Squirrelz92
My plan will be just to save, save and save! I want to get my EF up to 3-6 months bills money as is recommended and also I will be trying to add to my deposit money for buying a house next year as much as possible!
Yesterday my £50 regular payment came out to CC2 and I also received £5 from vinted and £5 from prolific so sent that to the card as well bringing my total debt down to £970! Finally broken the 1K barrier!Debt free November 20221 -
Fantastic news @sunshine_raincloud!
You must be so proud and flippin jumpin up and down to be in the position you are and rightly so. We all are working so very hard to get ourselves out of a financial mess and you are so, so close. Well done you!

Thanks for the support @shell16 !
Honestly so glad I found this place when I did! So many useful tips in everyone else's diaries and have got a lot of inspiration from reading about everyone else's journeys
Managed a much needed NSD yesterday. £5 bank account reward has come through so sent that to CC bringing total down to £965. I have around £17 pending on prolific after a high paying survey this morning and around £30 waiting to come through from vinted so might be able to send that over this week as well! My Christmas fund has come up to £67 without me even really realising the money has been coming out of my account. Increased it from £1/day to £2/day.
Not much else to report. Still have managed to avoid putting heating on! Definitely getting colder though.
Hope everyone is wellDebt free November 20222 -
£5 cashed out from prolific and sent to CC. Now at 87% of debt paid!Debt free November 20222

A further £17 cashed out from prolific over last couple of days and I have £13 pending. Lots of good surveys at the minute it seems! Sent that to the CC anyway. Money from vinted on the way to my account so if that clears will send it over as well.
Feeling a bit under the weather today but got loads on at work.
Not much else to report really. Less than 2 weeks to payday and hopefully being debt free (if they pay me correctly this month, which isn't a guarantee!)
Update: £20 from vinted sent to card so total balance £923!Debt free November 20222 -
Hey everyone.
Haven't posted in a long while sorry! I haven't had much to post as I am literally just waiting for pay day and it has also ended up being a spendy month with my mum's birthday so had to dig into my savings a bit, which is naughty I know. I think as I am so close to finally being rid of my debt I am starting to loosen my grip on the budget a bit.. not that I had a particularly strong grip on it in the first place!
Anyway hopefully I am still on track to be debt free at the end of this month. Awaiting my payslip, which will confirm things one way or the other for me. I am working this weekend so not many opportunities to spend and actually managed a NSD today.
Once debt is paid I am going to re-evaluate my spending pots and budget and savings etc and come up with a proper plan! I just feel like I can't think about it until I know it will definitely be gone this month.

So woke up this morning to no hot water! Think there is an issue with the cylinder.. been trying to get a plumber out but been at work all day and only just got back now. Also I have been asked to pay for a conference for work and have them reimburse me after it has happened in December and it is quite expensive!
Looks like my DFD of next week might be slipping away from me....Debt free November 20220 -
So still no hot water but hoping to have somebody over to fix it today! Will see how much it costs. Also the conference is going ahead so even with the extra money next month coming in from my tax refund I have calculated the maximum I can put to my debt will be around £200 rather than paying off the outstanding balance in full. Unexpected things always crop up so I will just need to be a bit more patient and hopefully things come together to still pay off by Christmas!Debt free November 20220

I'd push back on paying for the Conference yourself and reclaiming it. If work want you to attend, they should pay upfront. It's quite acceptable to say no, that's not possible - and give no further explanation.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?1
