Two cats taken to the vet, the pretty little one behaved disgracefully and had to be put in retraining cage to have her jab. The other one stood there and purred!
A few bits picked up for dinner tonight, so now I need to make a lasagne.
Hope you find the dress Pigpen10 -
ASB I make jellies for my pack up...sachet of sugar free jelly and I make 3 generous pots.
Slices of banana loaf? (HM - if you can get bananas cheap/reduced)

High winds here too, if any of you get roofing sheets blowing in from the west, please return them. One came off already today. Also the big, very old, beach tree is threatening to come down. And the worst storm isn't until later in the week!
Lunch boxes, home made popcorn is super cheap, can be flavoured with salt, melted butter, or icing sugar, or left plain. Crisps, the cheapest are still aldi/lidl. Less than 10p a bag, if you buy the 30 pack. Youngest daughter used to have leftover pasta with leftover diced vegetables and ketchup.
Almost no flying done, had grandchildren. Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.10 -
Pigpen I feel your pain with OH and anxiety. DS1 will suddenly appear at our house at random times when he is anxious but its sooo hard to know what he needs. As an anxious person myself I am usually best left to just get on with it, it's nice to know OH is there for me but usually I just need time to work through stuff myself.
Staff appraisal this afternoon. Blowing my own trumpet but I am a great boss apparently. That was nice to hear. No paid stuff for 4 days now but I am fretting because I left lots unfinished.
Hope the weather isnt affecting anyone too badly. I hate stormy weather. Not much flying done hear. Tired now.11 -
Congratulations on your staff appraisal YL, and well done Piggers for finding the Ebeast thing.Had a rare day out today with Belovéd and went to Ik3@ for the second time in our lives. Bought stuff we didn't know we needed but I think that's normal for that store isn't it?Better is good enough.10

Hi all, what a productive day you've all had!
Lots of school work today and had a good tidy around and a bit of a dust whilst on the phone to my old lady.
On lunch boxes 8yo loves crackers with Marmite or cheese, sugar free jelly, chopped fruit and veg. Her school are strict with sugar so no sweet treats allowed!
Tomorrow's job is hoovering and one more trip to CS if I get time before 8yo dentist appointment. Also bought some herbs that need planting.

Dinner done.. Pack ups done.. DW done.. Dots washed coat hung on the heated airer to hopefully be dry by morning,
Everyone in pj's.. they can go slob and read for a bit while OH gets finished I think.
I need to just go make sure the bed is cleared so I can get in before I am so tired I could sleep on a cactus!
