Betfair Suspended the account

If the account was being operated by yourself and your friend in such a way as to breach the T&C's agreed to when the account was opened, why do you think that Betfair should have any obligation to pay out on invalid bets?sukhshant said:
My concern is if they have blocked the account, they should refund the winnings as well. What is the possible way to get the winning back.

So all that protesting about how I was being impolite because I criticised you referring to yourself as the sole user of the account when it was pretty obvious you weren't, and your continued denial that anyone else was involved, turned out to be unfounded.sukhshant said:

There are multiple reasons why they can deem you in breach, none of them are from legitimate wins.
If they don't want your account as you win too much then they will close your account, but still pay out.
What is the actual reason you have had your account suspended?
Is the person who is the legal account holder the only person who has ever logged in and/or placed bets and have all those bets been placed in accordance with the Ts&Cs?
Now you've been clear about the exact circumstances, you've had accurate advice. You were never going to get it with your original evasiveness.6 -
Thanks everyone for taking their valuable time and answering my question. I appreciate and really thankful to some who manage to highlight the points to why the account is blocked and why the money is confiscated. However, I am yet to know if there is any way I can get the winning stakes back. If there is what options can be explored, If not then a simple No will work.

Thanks Matt for the meaningful advice. Well the key holder of the account is my friend and it is sometime used by me as well. So in that case yes account is used by multiple user. Due to the nature of work in regards to our job we travel to different countries, so yes the usage of account will be from other country as well but not by other user. As said, if that is a breach of T&C, I understand as per your clarification. They closed the account with statementMattMattMattUK said:Multiple users on the same account is a breach of Ts&Cs, placing bets whilst outside the country is a breach, automated betting is a breach, money laundering or card charge backs are a breach, betting patterns consistent with gambling fraud are a breach. "Winning have been retained and your deposit have been refunded. The account is closed on business grounds, this mean the company has decided to keep your account closed. This is definite closure and cannot be reconsidered or appealed. If you try to open another account it will automatically be closed" With reference to Clause 7. Suspension or termination in T&C.
My concern is if they have blocked the account, they should refund the winnings as well. What is the possible way to get the winning back.
Thanks
The problem is that your placed bets which were both not allowed under the terms and conditions and also likely to be illegal, the bets are therefore invalid. Multiple people using the same account invalidates the bets, placing bets from abroad invalidates the bets. There are not any winnings to be paid out as the bets were cancelled due to you and your friend breaching both the terms and conditions and likely the law as well.sukhshant said:Thanks everyone for taking their valuable time and answering my question. The best case scenario is probably what you have already got, which is the original deposit back and the account blocked permanently with that bookmarker (and any sub-brands within it's group), what you might find is you/your friend are blocked from the majority or even all of UK bookmakers as they cooperate to block people who place illegitimate or illegal bets.3 -

They deemed the initial bet wasn't placed within their terms so haven't paid it out.0 -
From reading through this thread, if Betfair have refunded the stakes for the "winning bets" and closed the account (for breach of T&Cs) then I think they've been fair. If they haven't refunded the stakes then I think they're imposing a penalty which is probably unlawful.

Assuming there is no breach of T&C, Account is used Single handed and within Jurisdiction. If they still do the same. what is the possibilities in that scenario to get the winning stakes place. I would like to know if in that case the same thing happen, how can we get the winning amount back.0 -
Quite. There is no confiscated money because there are no winnings. The minute the bet was placed it was void.jon81uk said:

The bet was never void, the bets were placed and the winning amount was very well there. The account was very well in working past months and increase in winning amount but few days back, when I logged in again it was blocked. If it is the case, the account should have been blocked at a very early stage.Aylesbury_Duck said:
