Betfair Suspended the account

One of my contact had a fully verified Account with Betfair, We had a winning amount of around £ 30,000, they suspended the account. Indefinite suspension and withdrawn the deposited money. However, refuse to pay back the winning amount. Tried contacting Betfair customer care, emailed but they said its been suspended on business grounds and they winning amount cannot be withdrawn. May  I Know what can be done. Any suggestions is useful

I imagine they will have detected that your "contact" has breached the terms and conditions. Follow their complaints process
and if that fails use dispute resolution
But it may well be correct that they can refuse to pay out.

Thanks, if they refuse to pay out, what can be done. Is there any way we can get the winning amount back. Can Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS) be of any use. They should not be blocking the money
  • What's the real story here? Betting companies don't just refuse to pay out legitimate winnings.

If they think you have been using someone else's account for money laundering, then the account will be frozen.  They won't say why until any investigation has concluded.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

If he is playing money on someone else's behalf (I notice the use of we) the rules have been broken.
If he is sure no rules have been broken then emailing the CEO of Betfair has been known to have moved thinks along.
  • Betfair accounts, like most betting accounts are a sole person.  Who is WE?

I do note, that your other posts are more fluid in their language but the sentiment is similar.

    You did say.

"One of my contact had a fully verified Account with Betfair,".

CEO isn't going to respond to your email. Due process will be followed. What's the cause of the issue?

Come on...that's a ridiculous way to describe yourself.  No one does that naturally or accidentally.

There's little point in seeking people's advice if you're going to be dishonest about the circumstances.  Something's obviously suspicious because Betfair are withholding winnings and have suspended "your" account, and you're being deliberately evasive on here.

Thanks Aylesbury, Everybody has their way to present, you didn't like it, it is completely your perspective. If you cannot advice please stay away from the forum. It is a public forum so be polite. Rest your life your thought keep it with yourself.
    Thanks
