Not sure if you are aware, but post to the DWP goes to a scanning dept who will scan it and it will then be loaded onto the system. But they are known to be behind. So I would worry for a couple of weeks.
Going back pre - covid. We sent a claim form in & it was nearly 3 weeks before we got a text to say thanks for the claim form.Life in the slow lane2 -

DWP mail is opened by royal mail in a mail handling centre.
DWP only acknowledge receipt once it is scanned onto theur system. This typically takes 2 weeks from when you sent it0 -
