Morning all, WM done, TD on, DW on again! Played several board games with three year old. Watered tunnel. OH had found missing sheep, sadly not before the foxes did. Made potato cakes with left over mash, christened tea, Turkey curry. Am now going to chill with some more knitting. Just to prove the buttons went on the others yesterday. Afternoon all
A slow day here; the wind was horrific overnight so I only had a couple of fitful hours sleep. I have had a nap already this morning.
Managed to make a flapjack traybake and do some general tidying round. I will light the stove shortly - the children swim on a Tuesday with school and will no doubt have damp hair and be a bit shivery when they get in. Easy dinner of chicken pieces with LO mash and veg.
Has anyone seen @Jazee around lately? I hope she’s okay.
Love to all xx

Another pile of books gone
Table and unit cleared ready to move
Just agreed a price with the estate agent and told her she can get on with selling it. Panic, this means we have a deadline to be sorted and tidy by! Nothing like a good kick up the a***
Off to put a wrongly delivered letter back in the letterbox then a cup of tea.10 -
Thank you ASB for a timely reminder that I need to post. I have been reading along a bit when I'm having a cuppa.
I'm ok but have weird bleeding so am waiting for a scan which will probably be in two months time. However, life has got super busy with looking after grandchildren, which I love, and a stupid amount of council work in addition to my paid stuff which is the busiest it has ever been.
Flying had been limited to just dailies.
Today though I have claimed back a bit of time for me. I attended an art class, popped out to buy cute things for the girls and am now settling down to have a read and a relaxing evening.
I have also made plans to meet with friends for lunch tomorrow and I'm getting my haircut on Thursday.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Lovely to “see” you back, Jazee. I hope things get sorted soon for you.
5.5 miles later, my legs know that they have been dragged up hills and across fields. I have also just come in from an hour (actually make that nearer 2, whoops) in the garden / greenhouse, so exercise is well and truly ticked off my list for today. First set of seeds planted, here’s hoping for a better year (in oh so many ways) than last year.Downstairs dusted and vacc’d. I drew the line at cleaning the LR windows.
Dinner sorted - paneer kebabs, using some paneer that DD left in the fridge when she went back to uni, and some chapattis.DD’s car passed its MOT, hurrah.9 -
Table moved, unit gone into trailer ready for tip.
Pellet stoves cleaned and refilled and on
Physically tired after moving stuff so calling it a day, but am actually feeling positive about letting stuff go. Loads more still to go and we now have a deadline but it is now emotionally and mentally much less difficult.
Good news on the MOT Fayolle10 -

Twinkle stood on her glasses at school so I bumbled by to get those fixed on the way home.
I think I might want to just dribble in a heap in a corner of doom..
