Wipe skirtings/front room window sill.
Set out clothes for kids after school and get PJ's out ready.
Prepare dinner. 
Wish me luck 🙈

I done well today. All except hoovering which I will do tomorrow. 
So tomorrow's list:
Hoover h/s/l 
C+c kitchen 
Sweep floor

Wipe dining table after folding and putting away clothes on it 🤔🙈
Wipe toaster kettle etc 
Cupboard doors. 
Phone council about broken doors

Medicine box

34 fling boogie which will start my declutter challange at the same time. 
Cook dinner to be warmed up 
Kids clothes ready for after school. 
PJ's ready and hot water bottles downstairs ready (I put them in while they get ready for bed rather than leaving them in while they are in bed, I worry way too much to do that) 
Wash hair 

I'm also giving up smoking tomorrow so need to be busy. No doubt work will be quiet so will stick check there to keep busy and avoid cig breaks.

DD has vacuumed the landing.  She may have done more.  Too tired to notice and am in be having fallen asleep waiting for mastermind.  I feel old and tired.

Welcome to newbies.
Golly it has been busy here.
I had quite a bit of time in the WAC last night; among other things I am very upset my drumming tutor is leaving - I don't do change and we get on so well. Then yesterday we heard that the horse Mr N owned for 10yrs has just been pts.  We gave the horse back to the family we bought him from when Mr N had health issues a few years ago, so at least we know that he had a good life - family owned him since 6months old; Mr N bought him aged 11, back to family aged about 21 so he must have been about 25.  Sad as he was a big part of our lives for all that time.      Nothing I can do about either the tutor or the horse, but I couldn't convince my brain of that in the early hours. Then had a panic about missing a friend's birthday - had to get up, go downstairs and look on the calendar to reassure myself it is next week.

However, managed to get up and go for a run.
Finished and emailed a report.
Part way through another.
Tidied kitchen.
Mr N got new tyres put on car.
Filled bird feeders.
One load through wm.
Various other bits of admin.

Oh Narco thats so sad about the horse, and yes the tutor thing would stress me too.  

I had a bad nights sleep, stupidly I woke up at 2am worried that the gate on our drive was going to come undone and blow into the car, it has only happened once before and it wasnt even that windy last night.  Like Narco I almost had to get up to check it.  Didnt seem to sleep at all after that.

Morning yoga done, going to get ready for the paid stuff next.

I'm up, made my bed, showered,  dressed, packed my lunch,  eaten my breakfast and I'm savouring my brew. 

Absolutely do not want to go to work today. The newby was on her own yesterday - and left to do the work that 2 experienced staff often struggled to cope with.... and without access to the database. Impossible. 1. It's not fair on her. 2. I'm going in today to face work from Saturday,  Sunday, yesterday and whatever comes in today. And possibly there's just me and the newby. I can work on clearing the backlog,  or I  can train....but I can't do both. Add to the mix a potentially explosive situation with the Receptionist- who is always annoying but deeply hurt me and a colleague with her opinionated and thoughtless remarks on Friday. My colleague cried - and she's not a crier (is that a word?). I'm beyond crying  but it took me all weekend to regain my equilibrium....I will be polite and professional but if she pushes....which I think she will as I was one of the few people who had time for her (note PAST tense!!!) she will be told. 

No wonder I prefer budgies 🐦🐦. 

I ended 2021 with £200 more in the bank than I started it. So I'm going to have to tighten my belt to stay afloat with increased NI, rent, C Tax,  utilities  and price hikes on everything. And breathe....

Sorry. That lot was churning round my head and I needed to offload. 

I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off.  Got to keep the wheel turning.

PS I'm thinking of taking the flylady bus on a 'stop the world I wanna get off' type adventure. Who's coming? And where shall we go?

Oh I don’t care where we go, as long as the first stop is down here in the wild west. Your previous pick up plan seemed pretty organised, so we just need to drive off into a stress free sunset. IMHO, that is…

I’m glad that I had so many to keep me company in the “ what shall I worry about next” WAC session last night.  I can’t even remember what I was worrying about, but having a heart attack and the garage crashing DD’s car were certainly on the list. And breathe…

DD’s car taken for a service and MOT. Given that my car is already poorly, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that her’s will buck the trend.
Wm x 1 running, hair washed, bed stripped, bedroom window open. On the list today is to clean through downstairs, clean bathroom, go for a walk with a friend (which will use up more time than I have available, but it is part of my exercise “plan”), sort out hg onions which are not storing as well as usual, make coleslaw with a sad cabbage from the fridge. Given that my guag is away with the fairies, I think that is more than enough.

Valli - hugs to you. How much longer is this full time working going on? Sorry, you probably said and my sieve like brain has forgotten x

Off to rescue my muddy boots from the greenhouse. Back later. Hugs to all xx

Round.. just tell her.. I am incapable of saying nothing, if they have stuff going on in real life I am happy to help with that but no one gets to shout at me or be rude to me.. I'm not a crier, I cry when I get really angry, then I get more angry because I am crying and I don't want people to be under the impression I am upset because I'm not, I'm just mad!

Twinkle lost her tooth before the tooth fairy had chance to pick it up.. so I have found that in their pit of a room.
I made cuppas.

OH is a moron and despite standing in the kitchen filling the girls drink bottle he has 'forgotten' to take their lunches.. he thought they were in their bags.. Twinkle didn't have a bag!! I have an appointment at 11 in the opposite direction so I can't take them.. I swear he does this stuff on purpose!

There are still bodies hacking up the road outside my house.. and the business 2 doors up has an HGV doing their delivery.. and it is bin day.... *hysterical laughter* OH has his first live calls today.. with grinders on foot paths and tarmacking/tarmac-ing/tarmaccing... with them fixing the path going on...

I'm going for a shower and forgetting the world exists for a bit..

Morning all and hugs to those in need of them I've been up for a while , taken DS2 to the train station and tackled the kitchen. It didn't take too long as I tidied it a bit yesterday. So my list for today is progressing nicely. I probably should mop the floor but I really CBA. More important is the inide of the microwave. Is it lemon in a bowl of water or something that you're supposed to use for microwaves?


My list so far:
- drop DS2 to train station
- PT session
- big walk with friend
- clean kitchen surfaces
- clean kitchen table
- dust sideboard 
- wipe down some cupboard fronts
- clean round toaster
- put BM away
- declutter kitchen window sills
- clean window above sink
- clean inside of microwave
- spot clean kitchen floor
- hoover kitchen floor
- dust top of cupboards

Morning everyone,

OH was very impressed by the rearrangement in the dormitory and is working from home today so says he will help me with a few bits that are too big/heavy for me on my own but are ready to be moved and should make a big difference.

I have confirmed to go on holiday with friends at the end of March, OH can't come but I'm pleased to have something to look forward to.

Bed made, clothes picked up, room aired
Bed moved in DD2 bedroom and made nicely
Banking and spreadsheets checked
Gov website checked for travel and vaccine info for friend

Next, need to WU and tidy kitchen, start WM, clear paperwork of unit so I can move it with OH.

How much can I get done before lunch?
