Yes I always send a tester of around a £1 , maybe wait a bit longer or up to £500 if that is the min.I know most banks accept a tester but a few don’t.janusdesign said:

Sent £500 yesterday and nothing showing yet. The account isn't even showing online when I log-in.
One of the terms from Newcastle BS state you can only make deposits while the account is current issue. Wonder if they'll allow people to still deposit now it has been withdrawn?0 -

Most usually give 14 days from account opening.0
