    Just paid a nominal starter fiver to my Kent Reliance - virtually instant confirmation of receipt from them.
    I thought min balance was a £1000 ?

        You can deposit as many times as you like within the first 14 days.
        Your account must meet the minimum balance within the first 14 days.

    Presumably that initiated the correct interest rate being displayed?
    Shows 4.51% AER  as I have now topped up over the minimum deposit required. I have selected monthly interest paid out so will be 4.42.

    Do Kent Reliance fixes have a 14-day total window for all deposits, or is that the window for initial deposit and then a further X days from initial deposit for additional deposits?

    No more deposits post 14 days.
    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    Phew! Just got in , in time,  a 0.25 cut on the 1 year -  I still have a week or so to top it up if I want.
    Lower inflation figures today probably making a B of E cut even more inevitable.
  • Yes didn’t hang around for long , managed to grab the 4.51% 1 year just in time.

    As well as being driven by market data, the timing of these rate cuts along with a 14-day deposit window on the previous issues could help KR secure a good amount of deposits by the end of the year...

    Yes, I'm so glad I opened the one year fixed on Monday.  Just seen the drop this morning.  I've just deposited the minimum £1000 for now.  Just waiting for the inevitable base rate reduction today, but also waiting to see what the tone of the decision is.  I've got until the 29th to fully fund it but I'm a little concerned about any delays caused by the Xmas break between now and then.  Particularly as a good chunk will be moved from T212!

    Inspired by Mrs Bobble's good application experience a few days ago, I also applied yesterday for the 1 year Fix! That 14 day funding window might come in handy depending on how quickly others react to any BOE rate drop.
