They offered me a 5.81% renewal monthly, after my 2.86% deal expires.
Will have to decide if I'm tightwadded enought to get the money back, then set the 5.85% one up!0 -
You can get 6.1% with monthly interest elsewhere.auser99 said:

The only rate above 6.1% showing on the MSE tables is an 18month for Tandem at 6.15 and that's annually paid?
There's a few 6-6.05%, but if you take those monthly they'll drop a bit under 6.
To be fair, I've a few bits and pieces with Kent, so it feels easier to consolidate in one place with a near peak of market provider, rather than split across tonnes of randoms that at one point were highest.1 -
RCI 5.8% on five year bond3

@TiVoLad possibly means accounts that offer 6.1% AER, but have the option of monthly interest? For example, First Save 1 year @ 6.1% (5.94% monthly).auser99 said:

Possibly, but they backed that one out.SJMALBA said:

Could someone confirm that the period of a fixed term bond starts thd day you open it and not when the “funding window” closes ?
Thank You.0 -
This can vary - a common option is that they start the period from the day the account is first funded. You'd need to read the account T&Cs.metrobus said:Could someone confirm that the period of a fixed term bond starts thd day you open it and not when the “funding window” closes ?
