I opened the Castle Trust 6.2% account earlier today. Nice easy process, everything sent through email and an SMS verification code. Account now open, £10 test payment made and received and updated in the account within 2 hours despite the emails saying it may not updated until the end of play the next working day. Downloaded the app as well and installed it.
6.2% will do me for a year3 -
Atom have just increased their 1 year fix to 6.05%3

Hi all, I have just tried to find the 1 year bond @ 6.2% offered by castle trust bank, but I fear it has been pulled, as the link from MSE to CTB seems to be broken & their website has no trace of this bond☹️ Anyone else having the same trouble?
Update: Just rang CTB & they have confirmed this bond is no longer available☹️☹️0 -

Looks like it might have been pulled now - I definitely saw it yesterday and I know people here signed up for one. These fixes do get pulled regularly, once the organisation has as much money pledged as it was aiming for. But I also think it's worth checking it again regularly, as they often bring them back again after a few days - if for example, a lot of people signed up for one, but then didn't fund the account, so they open them up again.
With interest the way it is at the moment, fixed accounts especially seem to be changing frequently - one day a 1 year fix will be better interest than a 2 year, the following day, they swap around.0 -
