Don’t get me started on this. The grammar police will be on to me.

You could wait and wait for fixes to go up losing out slightly if money in easy access. I fixed up with Atom 2 weeks ago @ 4.8% and already it’s gone up twice but how high can they go is a question we all would like the answer to. For me it’s the duration ie have fixes maturing in Aug / sept / nov so hopefully at least 5% still then.susanann_2 said:How high do we all think these rates are going to go up to. It's a very good question! Personally I'm waiting to see what the next Bank of England interest rates will be on 22nd June. I'm looking to placing an amount to invest on SmartSave, but we'll see.susanann_2 said:How high do we all think these rates are going to go up to. Re, Tandem. Just wished they will pay monthly interest. Just 0.15 to go dear friends.
Perhaps I should change my nom de plume.

i jumped into a couple of five year Tandem Fixed Savers when they paid 5%, paying out annually. I might have waited if I knew 5.35% was on the way, but then none of us are seers, have to go with best offers at the time, or wait forever for rates you don’t know are coming.bristolleedsfan said:Tandem Bank 2 Year Fixed 5.25% 3 Year Fixed 5.30% 5 Year Fixed 5.35%
