i opened q 12 month fixed with DF at 5% very easy to open and no jumping through hoops. i mistakenly entered the wrong password 3 times and was locked out of the account. I phoned them and was very impressed how quickly they answered and sorted it out for me. This means a lot to me as i know some banks can be a real pita.

Do you mean the 4.99% they currently have on offer?  I cannot see a 5% one on their site.  
I too like DF.  Their site is very good and easy to follow and I haven’t yet had to call them up but its nice to know they are efficient at that too.

I’ve found DF capital and Hampshire Trust bank both excellent for customer service. Both quick to answer phone and solve any issues. 

DF are so easy to open and nice website

Thanks for the info.  It is not yet listed on MSE Best Fixed Accounts so good to get in before the rush!
