    "How many Fixed Saver accounts can I open?

    You can open as many Fixed Saver accounts as you like as long as you stay within the Maximum Balance Limit for your savings accounts."

    National Bank of Egypt (UK) LimitedRaisin UK - 1 Year
    offering 2.70% (may only  be through Raisin , not sure if you can get direct but their direct website is bit ropey looking IMO and new services are  apparently "appointment only")
    hopefully will get matched/beaten soon anyway.

    Minimum £10,000 deposit, via Raisin.
    How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)
  • I have a raisin account and have no problem with it. Takes an extra day or 2 to fund your chosen account though.

    I am going to go with the raisin National Bank of Egypt one year fix at 2.7%.

    As rates are still rising I am also going to go for a raisin QIB 95 day notice account at 1.95% then immediately put in my notice. I will then get the funds back in 95 days when one year fixes might have better rates than today (or maybe not!).

    Can you cancel the notice later on if rates don't rise?
    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    No. I think rates will be higher though so I opened it.

    Yes you can but as new to Zopa don’t know if notice applies to whole amount or amount at time of notice. I am just drip feeding into the account at the moment

    Thanks for your answer, but I just realised I posted on the wrong thread so deleted my post. Will repost on Easy Access thread.
