I've just taken one out in the last few days - Opening was easy and straight forward. Transfers in - Although they said wouldn't show until the following day showed within an hour or so which was good.jimexbox said:Has anyone had/got a fixed rate bond with Smartsave? I've had a fixed rate bond with them previously too. I don't recall any issues.1 -
Hampshire trust bank up their two year bond from 4.53 to 4.6pc
and it’s annual interest so if you’re worried about PSA it will spread the interest over two tax years2 -

I opened a 4.53 with them but understand they have a 14 day cooling off period so will open the 4.6 and cancel the existing accountMiddle_of_the_Road said:

Yes, AFAIK all distance selling has to have the 14 day cooling off period by law.VNX said:

Still looking around at one year fixed bonds. Oxbury bank are offering 4.54 AER. Interest paid on maturity. Very tempted.2

Oxbury 1 year fixed bond opened and part funded. 5 minutes to open an account on my phone, although you have to authenticate your mobile device by logging in via a PC and taking a picture with your phone of a one time QR code. Currently mobile app is used as 2FA only, which may change. Website is very clean and clear, two weeks to fund before the window closes.
Edit
Oxbury does not support COP, so expect lots of warnings for a cash transfer. Money showed up in my oxbury account in less than a minute.3 -
Phoned HTB they quickly moved my 4.53% bond to their new issue of 4.6%
no hassle1
