Just wondering how many of us that are disappointed with the free newspaper offer ending will let Waitrose know.
I don't think that there are many that TRULY disappointed that a free newspaper will stop them from shopping at Waitrose. Yes, there'll be a few as seen in this thread, but not droves and droves. There's not going to be a sudden mass exodus to Sainsburys or Aldi. In the grand scheme of the world - do we really need a free newspaper these days? Everything that's printed is already yesterday's news. A bit like the offer.

Newspapers offer more than the News on social media and/or traditional news programmes.
The 'saving offers' for me have got more tailored in the last 2 weeks - I wonder if the data from using the Waitrose Loyalty Card was actually that nuanced or 'peronalised' before this initiative and whether there is a catch up. Interestingly I got a 50p discount on Waitrose Extra Virgin Olive Oil which I chose but did not use (10% discount) last week. This week it came up again but at £2.00 discount - I chose it and will use it.
Must admit using Sainsbury more for my 'essential' shopping though I intend to shop specifically to which supermarket offers me the best for what I need - and that is because I am centre of a 3 mile radius of all the supermarkets including the discounters.
I have discovered that my “myWaitrose” card allows me to get a free Telegraph newspaper every day, with no obligation to spend anything at all in the store. I have been paying £37 a month for a Telegraph subscription (which is a good deal in itself). But banking on the hope that this “myWaitose” offer continues, I will be cancelling my subscription and saving £37 a month!
