End of free newspaper at Waitrose

I've just been signed up for a trial of the new programme. Free newspapers, until they stop, are worth £6.00 a week to me. I was offered 6 vouchers from which I could choose 2. They were all things I buy, but not every week, and the vouchers only last a week. The 2 vouchers I will use this week are worth £1.50 in total :-(
As of now it's a real pain because the vouchers are accessible only via a browser on your phone. You have to log in to Waitrose to choose your vouchers, and there's no facility to print them off (although you can use screen capture to get round this). They expect you to log in from your phone, in store, in order to use them. In my case this means I will have to sign in to the in-store wifi (if they have it) because my phone has no signal inside the shop.
I will be trying it tomorrow for the first time. If it works I will probably choose my vouchers in store in future, to make sure I'm choosing something they have in stock. That's because (in the trial anyway) you can't change a voucher once you've chosen it.

My deliveries come from the Coulsdon fulfillment centre and I have orders up to 3rd March. The charge changed from my 24/2 order. The prices differ slightly according to day, but for a Friday , this is what I see -

There was a geriatric subculture that would visit our local Food & Home store for free coffee and pastry, read the newspapers cover to cover and spending-a-penny without actually spending a penny, prevailing back in the day. I wouldn't have minded if they were people in need, but they were all rich (and recently-retired) pensioners from a well-to-do local suburb that needed neither feeding nor watering. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.4 -
I sometimes receive Waitrose vouchers through the post, I wonder if these will stop now. They were usually £4 off a £20 spend.0

New scheme now live. I've received money off vouchers for my usual newspaper (equivalent to a free newspaper) for every day of the week, as well as some other personalised vouchers. I don't know how long this will last or what proportion of members will get a similar offer. I expect it will depend on how regular a newspaper buyer you were.1

Via phone app according to pikestaffs own thread on the subject....

Another reason for not shopping at Waitrose.
Today's mail brought their note about how MyWaitrose "just got better".
Not for me. It seems I have to buy a smartphone in order to take advantage of any offer I select and I rather think it would take too long, if ever, to recoup that particular expenditure.0 -

Both of which are of more use to me than a free newspaperEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1
