I wouldn't send anything to a court outside of business hours, so I'd work on 4pm as the absolute latest time to email it (and, of course to the Claimant solicitor).
I appreciate the advice, i'll get it submitted before 4pm tomorrow then1 -

Good luck.1 -

I feel as though I would have already received a discontinuance by now, if they intended not to proceed. But there's still time (hopefully). I'm sure someone experienced on here could advise?1 -
They may well be hoping you won't file & serve a WS, which makes you look unreasonable and they could then bang one in at ten to four tomorrow.
They can and do discontinue after WS stage! Any time before the hearing.
Don't miss the Public Consultation mentioned in the top sticky thread. It will open soon and even if your case is over like @bloodyccbc you will (I trust) want to help us and all motorists to bang that final nail in the coffin of the added false £70 'court-race and intimidation' funding model.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Good afternoon everyone
Just a quick update on how things are progressing, as I haven't logged in for a while. I now have a court hearing date for later this month. I've also received the below email today, explaining that UKPC won't be attending the hearing. If i've understood it correctly, is it commonplace for the PPC not to attend themselves?

If i've understood it correctly, is it commonplace for the PPC not to attend themselves? They hardly ever do, potentially too many awkward questions to answer.I'm rather concerned that you've not mentioned submitting your WS and evidence bundle, and warning bells chiming on the basis of the Claimant having submitted theirs, and they are notoriously last minute/late in doing so.Check your Letter of Allocation which will instruct you by when you need to submit yours - possibly on the back page. You and the Claimant have exactly the same deadline to submit. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
